You're such a great, fun teacher. I feel like I'm right there with you in your Studio. I have wondered how that saw works, and now I understand. Thanks so much. You're the best!!

Leslie this was an excellent instructional video, not only was this the determining factor in what saw I should buy but exactly how to use it when it arrives too. Thank you so much!

Leslie, this tutorial is very good. Better than very good. I was just about to bin my new Knew saw until I saw [pardon the pun] your tutorial. From going from rank outsider yesterday, I am now sawing intricate "frilly' bits into copper. One suggestion that I would like to add, is that, if you suddenly find that the saw blade is not holding even though it not broken, the lubricant works its way down into the the lower saw clamp and thus makes screw down connection too slippery to hold the blade. A dab of acetone works a trick!

I repair clocks and am getting more into making my own parts. Thanks for this video. It offers a lot of great info. I just ordered some new, quality, saw blades and am excited to try my hand at making clock hands. I will be using patterns of longcase clock hand from the 1700's. Some of them are very detailed, with lots of scrolling designs. Thanks again!

Oh, so sad about your clock not working. If you ever have any questions about it, give me a call. Our website is theclockconnection.com. You can get our shop number there. I may be able to give you a few things over the phone you can try that may get it to run. You might email me a photo of it before you call. That would give me a better idea of what you have.

This was a Great video. Definitely the most informative one I have found, and I’ve watched quite a few. It’s Like taking a class in how to use a jewelers saw, but free! Thanks! Also, question. Could I use a jewelers saw to cut 1/8” brass plate? And if so, what size blade should I use? I had a heck of a time trying to cut 1/8” aluminum the other day but I don’t know what I’m doing 😅 Thanks! ❤ Also, I’m mesmerized by your rings 😂 they’re awesome. Damn ADHD

What is a Boho ring? A picture would help. I bought the Knew Concepts Jeweler's saw after watching your video and also (besides the trim saw) a Jooltool. Hope I like it! I could not find the Potter USA tiny flower mold tool you demo-ed in your video "Lets make skinny oval cabs." I went to the PotterUSA site and looked on every page but never found it. Part of the problem is I am not sure exactly what it is called.

Dear Leslie, I discovered and started watching your videos about two months ago. I like that you keep things simple and give extra tips on your equipment. Subsequently, I have decided to buy a hydraulic press. I always wanted a rolling mill, but after watching you, it seems that the press is more versatile. Your input would be appreciated. Thanks. Also, though not meaning to offend, I have two suggestions that I believe will make your videos more professional and enjoyable, at least for me: (1) Remove your enormous rings; they're very distracting and sometimes it's difficult to distinguish between them and the object you're working on; and (2) either tie your hair back out of your face or put it behind your ears; watching you constantly halfway push it out of your face just to have it fall back in the same place is distracting and annoying to the viewer. It also makes you appear to be a flighty blond, and from watching you, I know you're not.
