SAWTOOTH MOUNTAINS HORSE PACK TRIP: ROSS FORK LAKES PART II

Dan Mink, The Rhinestone Roper, and his buddy Mike Ewing, The Cowboy Balladeer form Arizona, continue their horse packing trip in the Sawtooth Mountains of Southern Idaho. In the last episode, they packed into Ross Fork Lake No 4 & 5 to spend the first night. Now it's time to load up again and head Lake No. 3 which promises to be better fishing and an even more picturesque scenery. The third Lake is more difficult to get to and has a large plateau with plenty of grass to keep the horses happy.

Howdy, Actually this spot is hard to get onto and the horses won't go back up the trail on their own. Plus the mountain is so steep to bushwhack that they stay on the lake plateau for a reasonable time. So I don't hobble them at these lakes.

Yes it is beautiful. This video only shows me casting a line. The next video has a lot more fishing footage mostly of Mike. He holds it correctly.
