He would always call everyone boy so every time he says boy it makes me sad and they he says he grew old that one really makes me cry because I never knew him when he was younger I only knew him when he was older. Same here even as a teenager it was a much better time. Graduated in 2002 and it has been shit sandwiches and middlin years for most of my life. When the second verse comes on, I flashback to my cousin who went to Vietnam. I can't imagine that, being drafted with no choice. My cousin came back even wilder than before, never settled down. He never talks about what happened, not that we've ever asked him. I'm just grateful that he didn't get hurt or killed, that none of my family who served has seen true combat other than that.
