Sawyer Fredericks What I've Done Tobin Center for the Arts Oct 25, 2017

Sawyer Fredericks performs a free form version of his classic original What I've Done on Oct 25, 2017 in San Antonio TX at The Tobin Center for the Arts.
Sawyer starts his shows with is full band: Art Fredericks, Bass Guitar, Chris Thomas, Drums and Jerome Goosman on Guitar and Harmonies. After a few songs the band exits and Sawyer plays a Solo Set. It was during his Solo Set at the Tobin Center that Sawyer created this free form version of What I've Done. Sawyer began by playing a few cords on his guitar and then asked the audience to suggest a song to match the melody he had just created and after a few moments he began.
Sawyer and the Band's visit to San Antonio was a stop on Sawyer's 2017 North American Hide Your Ghost Tour.

I remember somebody once commenting that he always sounds the same, this is a perfect example that he does not, I did not even recognise this song from the first cords, always fresh and always so very special, I love this version.

Been watching Sawyer vids for about 3 hours now. How this kid isn't national news just speaks to the loss of true musical taste this country has suffered. He was majestic when he won Voice and has just gotten better. Anyone else picture him and Clapton throwing down? King of blues and the new crown jewel. They'd sell out any arena on the planet. Does he do any Clapton covers?

Its my understanding that Sawyer wants to remain independent and free of the big labels etc. He has made a very wise decision for his career. His pure love writing, composing and performing will always be his by staying on indie lables. So young, so wise.
