On page 15 of chapter 671 the Sage said that the problems happened because he left everything to Ashura and didn't pay enough attention to Indra. So what the Sage is basically saying is that if he only gave Naruto the powerup then Sasuke would get jealous and throw a bitch fit like Indra did and start a war. So really, the Sage didn't want to give Sasuke the powerup. I don't think Sasuke deserves to have an actual powerup from the sage. Sasuke should have gotten his powerup from a different source (maybe Kabuto). Naruto is the one who befriended the Bijuu so only he deserves the powerup from the Sage.

About Byakugan: I clearly remember it being said in the 1st series that Sharingan originated from Byakugan (I guess Kishi finally decided to bring up that plot point, I've been wondering for whole Shippuuden that maybe's he's just forgotten about it). Kaguya having Byakugan actually does make sense and is not really that surprising.

The shonen jump translation clears things up a bit, by saying that the sage's brother helped him to seal it within himself, so they didn't divide the chakra in half like some people think

Yes, it's a problem with the translation. I looked at the phrase myself and it could have been translated as either "sealed inside of us" or "sealed inside of me". That's just how the language is, it can't be helped. When the official translation came out, the only person having the Juubi sealed in him is the Sage.

I met left handed people, usually they are talented, smarter and sometimes tend to be genius. This evening I had a talk with a fellow Naruto fan and him studying arts said that left handed people use a part of their brain to learn stuff until they figure out their dominant hand. They use the part of the brain right handed use when learning at a young age. And when they discover their dominant part -side- they start to learn with the other part :O that's why they are remarkable. (If you're a right handed, the center for dominance is in the left and viceversa) you can look this thing up, I'll do as well xD And yeah about the fact that his sword tilts to the right: he might just be ambidextrous. It's much more encompassing (within the chapters) and less biased than Forneverworld's (though he seems better at digging up previous information). I always thought the infinite Tsukuyomi would have put folks to sleep, but I never predicted the Matrix human batteries idea. Very good review and chapter. Naruto is making me excited to read it again after a very long time. So.... Sasuke is getting healed by Kabuto who has various Jutsu and DNA, Juugo accelerated the evolution of his Susano'o to its final form, got some power from Hashirama, and because he almost died he is going to get the Rinnengan. Naruto has a percent of chakra from 6 tailed beasts, and has about 80% from Gyuuki, and now has a 100% from Kurama and Shukaku. And on top of all that the Sage is going to give them both a Christmas present for being good little ninja. POWER UP CENTRAL, damn Sakura you didn't get any love. Still got that medical stuff going for you.

This is definatly getting interesting with these latest manga chapters. Most interesting of all though i think is seeing that the sage had a brother and the mother had both the byakugan and rinne-sharingan (whatever you wanna call it). With this you can begin to piece together the linage of the clans, best theory i've seen is this: Kaguya -> Hagoromo + sage's brother Hagoromo -> Indra (uchiha clan) + ashura (senju clan) Sage's Brother -> Hyuga clan + uzamaki clan Seeing this its highly probable that the brother possessed the byakugan so who knows what would have happened if naruto and hinata actually did get together. Begs the question though of what is with the 9 tommed red eye, is it like what happens when all 3 eyes combine or a further stage of the rinnegan. Also does perhaps kimimaru the bone guy fit into all of this cus he was from the "kaguya clan" and had the same 2 forehead dots as kaguya herself. Perhaps the brother had the bone powers too and thats what hyuga + uzamaki powers creates. So many questions with so many theories ^_^

Kaguya is the first name of the mother of Hagoromo, her last name is Otsutsuki. So Kimmaro is not in part of the family tree. I don't think the Uzumaki clan comes from the Sage's brother I think only the Hyuga clan does. I feel the uzumaki are part of Ashura's descendants with the senju.

Gamez X Well that is easily explainable, Ashura descendants of course had more than one kid, therefore their would be cousins just like Indra descendants are cousins to the descendants of Ashura. Basically take it like this... Ashura Ashura has two descendants both descendants has kids of their own these kids of Ashura two descendants are cousins, as these two cousins have kids and their desecendants have kids, their becomes 1st cousins, second cousins, third cousins, and so on. A distant relative is a far off cousin.

Just throwing this out their but I think if the sage's children became the uchiha and senju clan then I bet with Kagyua having the byukugan then the sage's brother's kids must have become the Uzumacki and Hyuga clan. Uzumacki received the brothers body while the Hyuga received the eyes just like what happened with the Dage's children. I remember in one chapter they mentioned that the uzumacki and Senju were distant relatives.

Madara broke the seal when he awakened the Rinnegan. He released the Gedo Mazou statue from the moon (the husk of the Jyuubi's body). Madara explains this in Obito's flashback.

I think what Sasuke wants is just power. Without power, one cannot overcome obstacles. In Naruto's case, without friends, obstacles cannot be overcome. Maybe it's a little more complex in terms of what Sasuke wants, because why else would this be unexplained. I really do believe it's power that he wants. That's what the crescent moon side (Indra's side) wants.

its definitely something only Gai and a few others can ever hope to do. Lee has been at is for his entire life so far as well. From during the Chunin exams till now he has only learned to open one more gate. In his fight with gaara, he had 5. Now he has 6. Also I dont think it matters how many gates you open, as long as the user itself is strong enough, the power will scale with that. Like how a super saiyan transformation works. Its not the transformation that makes you strong, but the work and effort needed to condition your body to hone that technique.

Well done as always sawyer. 1 thing tho...Neji was right that you can't change ur destiny it's just we(naruto) don't know what that destiny is, plus hindsight is 20-20 so of course NOW we can say "naruto u were gonna be the destined kid" but we(naruto) have to make decisions not knowing the outcome even though there are an infinite number of outcomes, only 1 actually comes true. Just because some outside person knows this outcome doesn't mean he predetermined it, he/she just hit the fast forward button and tried spoiling the ending for everyone else ;p Damn! now I feel like Lost might make sense....anyways just my opinion, hope it wasn't too confusing
