What used to be regarded as an outdoor pests. Now a tick bite can lead to some very serious medical problems. In some cases a simple tick bite can be serious enough to kill. Thanks for sharing the field test of the Sawyer spray.

Hey Mike, Great video. I was bitten by a tick 36 years ago that gave me alpha gal. It took about 6 months of eliminating different foods before I figured out it was red meat causing severe allergic reactions and when I say red meat I mean any mammal meat causes anaphylaxis. I had to figure this out on my own, back then no one knew anything about it but by the grace of God I finally figured it was a meat allergy but still didn't know what caused it until many years later when others began having the same problem. I have adjusted to the fact I can't eat red meat although it has been difficult. There is new research that may lead to a cure but after not eating meat for most of my life now I probably wouldn't eat alot of meat but it would be great to be able to and not have to worry about getting some by accident. By all means protect yourself in the woods! God bless!

Thank you for this video. I was bitten in 2007 and my life changed for ever. I have both bacterium that couldn't be treated with antibiotics, even though I got it in 48 hours. It went dormant and the antibody test would be negative one year, positive the next. Seizures, full body charlie horses and a form of arthritus that does not respond to pain killers. I have learned how to live with it. And mor people need to know just how bad it is. Just north of me in OHIO, cattle are being drained of blood and dying in large numbers. We this year in our county have CWD confirmed also. Not good.

It will actually kill the tick if it crawls across the treated fabric for several weeks after it's applied.
