100% pointless. Why do so many people show videos of FWD 106's and saxo's boosted with no traction at all. A stock 106 GTI with cams and ITB's running say 170hp would destroy all of these cars. The boosted ones like this that still have stock diffs allowing just one wheel to spin destroying the gear box in the first four gears, while the speedo shows 120mph but they are still doing a street speed of about 40, meanwhile the saxo or 106 with a 170hp na lump will be doing over double that speed with it's engine and gearbox still intact.

Even with all the wheel slip the GTI still wouldn't stand a chance. Its a complete turd by comparison. Keep in mind the speedo showed 210+ kph with the wheels still spinning _and stayed there_ even after he let off. Id be willing to bet it was doing around 150 MPH by the time he started coasting. You'd have to push the 106 out of the back of a C130 without a parachute to get the same result.

Actually, these sporty hot hatch engine were made to accept 215hp at the max rpm of 9000rpm in rallying. These are the basement of a rally car, so I guess only a little turbo pushing 210 would make it quiet reliable ( except if you are using the engine at 100% every day )

So putting such a powerful turbo in there will definitely knock down the reliability of the car and the engine's life. Unless the owner put a stronger engine block,pistons,camshafts etc to withstand the pressure

I believe that this car is on axel stands. If it's not it clearly has massive amounts of power. However , if you are going to put this much power into this type of car which would clearly cost alot and this genuinely is as fast as it looks, LEARN TO DRIVE IT PROPERLY.

+david gearing You'd be surprised how little power it actually is, a Saxo weighs like 800kg, a 200hp engine in a Saxo/106 is hard to get traction with, with the turbo engines that come up around 400hp+, there just is no traction, it's FWD and doesn't weigh anything.
