Always loved Saxon since they began back in the day I am 68 now, I do think his voice is showing his age but still love them. He has worked and strived for decades, completely loyal to his music. The fact they still have the same lineup since 1990's is great because they have consistency which makes for a great band. Just love them.

I remember my first concert with Saxon back in 1983 in Berlin. They also started with " motorcycle man ' and the sound was so loud that after track 1 i was nearly def.

Naja, ich als Saxon-Fan der ersten Stunde habe überlegt, am 10.03.23 in Köln mal wieder eine Saxon-Konzert zu besuchen, aber wenn ich diese Stehparty da auf der Bühne so ansehe, kommt ja gar nix mehr rüber. Und der Sound ist auch ätzend. Ich glaube, ich spare mir die Kohle für ne Band, die einen noch mitreißt, z.B. die Nitrogods. Saxon ist wohl echt vorbei...

Alan Yeo • are you really talking shit about Nigel G? He is a double-bass beast and perfect for Saxon. He is no chump, in fact he was the badass drummer in this band in their hay-day during the 1980s. He left the band some time close to 1990, but his return to the band was a dream come true for Biff and guitarist Paul Quinn who were all veterans from the young days of Saxon.
