Hi Gary. I have a xp deus 1 and have just purchased a 13" x35 coil and a 9" HF elliptical coil. When i use the x35 coil my detector is going crazy when i detect close to another detectorist. It doesn't seem to matter what detector they are using or what program i am using. Is there any way of stopping this happening? Kind regards Bri.

I’ve always wondered why XP only programmed 6 frequency offsets to mitigate EMI on the Deus 2. You’d think a more robust algorithm to cancel noise more effectively would be to program at least 3 times the number of offsets than the Deus 2 has currently….(i.e. from 6 to at least 18 ?)…would the scan program then take 3 times longer than it currently does to arrive at the cleanest channel?

I tried repeatedly to do this with my XpDeus II and it did not make a difference. I was near the road and electrical lines. Happened again at the beginning of another field with same results.

Does it work for 5G interference? I had a really bad time last night on the beach in my city. Between that my detector was crazy, I only heard the signal of bottle caps and condom wrappers.😅🤦‍♂️
