Many thanks for your question manikandan madhuvappan. The optical 3D Sensor surveys each surface to be painted at several points. Based on these data the robot control is creating a 3D model and compares it with the stored CAD model. Then the robot path program will be adjusted. In serial production this is done for every carbody.

For that should Cad and car to be painted ,is aligned to machine coordinates manually or is that automatic process.... What if there is a mismatch in car and cad then is there any safety, or will it continue painting?
