Fuck I miss hearing those bands as they were happening, feeling the times as they were.. Then this woman, who is a BABY compared to me and came along well after this music that I grew up with, takes this song and absolutely HONORS IT. Not only does she honor Chris, but she honors HIS honor of Andy. I’ll never be a candy pop guy, but in her heart, Miley Cyrus isn’t a candy pop girl. This music suits her, and she sure as hell suited this song. I hope the next time you listen, it affects you the same way as it did the last time. Be well.

I read a lot of comments about Miley Cyrus needing to sing more songs like this. The question I ask is why aren't you people listening to more songs Miley Cyrus sings? Does it matter what genre the songs are? Have any of you really taken the time to know who she really is? Many of you already know which brought you here like she did me. Expecting Miley to drop what she's been doing and just devote herself to sing hard rock music to placate a stunned crowd is laughable. Those of us who followed Miley here to the Chris Cornell Tribute knew she would "crush it" like she's been doing it all along where ever she's been performing since she began. Miley is incredible. She can do it all.

Wow! I was completely stunned. I thought it was going to be a train wreck but she killed it. She should stop doing pop and be a rocker. She has pipes!

This is where I became a Miley Cyrus FAN... Girl I even forgive that Pitbull debacle that time... man I heard Chris Cornell do this live and it was spiritual... u crushed it MC and I have a newfound admiration and respect for u...

Been following her career since Hannah Montana times.. Great voice already back then but unfortunately genre not interesting myself. Never doubts of her singing gifts, been always there. Now wishing she'll continue in music where her soul gives the best like we can see in here.. Cornell is my all time favourite and she did hella great job.. Kudos to Miley!

What a performance! What a tribute to one of my favorite artists. It’s crazy how one person performance can open your eyes to someone’s true talents and and how they seize the moment and take charge of a venue and captivating it. Sounds familiar, like the person she is paying tribute to. Miley Cyrus is an amazing talent. I will never get tired of seeing this.

it's funny that a lot of people in the comments section are surprised that Miley can sing.. She is an artist.. Just cuz she got a little off track with her image.. Who cares .? She was a kid for God sakes. anyway,, Miley can sing some covers . She ain't no joke. R.IP. Chris. We Love You Man. And thank you.!

exactly! she basically has proved that people will believe the tabloids and judge an artist without actually trying to see them for who they are 😁
