በምን መስፈሪያ ነው ሃይማኖት የእውቀት ጉድለት ሆኖ የተበየነው? ብያኔውንስ ማን ነው የሚሰጠው? እውቀትስ ምንድን ነው? ቆንጽሎ ማወቅ መቼን ደፋር ድምዳሜ ላይ ያደርሳል፤ አሊያማ አዋቂ የተባለ እንዲህ አይነት ደፋርና ግልብ ድምዳሜ ላይ ሊደርስ አይችልም ቢያንስ በዚያ በኩል ያለውን እውቀት እስኪ መረምር ድረስ።

Thank you. I think there is a typo in the quote .The misspelt 'deserves' should be replaced by 'disservice'. Incidentally, Carl Sagan, remained an agnostic. It is not true,however,to say that every scientist was and still is an atheist or agnostic. Currently, it is estimated about 35-40% of the scientists in W Europe aren't. Francis Collins, the eminent American physician-geneticist, The Human Genome Project leader and a Nobel Laureate, for example, is a believing Christian. Through his book 'The Language Of God', contrasted with the stridently atheistic Richard Dawkin's 'The God Delusion', Collins tells us why he believes.

I don’t how you arrived at the conclusion that I suggested that all scientists are agnostics or atheists. If you looked carefully at my last comment I didn’t make any implication to that end. I guess some people get their physical exercise from jumping into conclusions.

@@NegA-g2i Regardless of a widely held belief, it’s very presumptuous for someone to claim knowing what’s in the recess of a person’s heart irrespective of someone’s station in life be it a scientist or a farmer. Case in point, many in their so- called deathbed confessions are known to proclaim their true feelings about matters of life beyond the grave.. It is not true, however, to say that every scientist was and still is an atheist or agnostic..' is not, I hasten to add, directed against you. Your Sagan quote clearly shows that you are not a subscriber to that view. Instead, I make the incidental and general remark on the widely held notion that science and religious belief are incompatible and most if not all scientists are,ipso facto, non-believers. I take issue with that. And that is the tenor of my comment.
