After my Boyfriend died back in September, I had the original version of this song on repeat for a few weeks. He really loved Gareth's playing style and watched his videos, trying to learn his technique. I had no idea he'd covered this song until today, when I got on here looking for one of my boyfriend's favorites. I haven't cried about it in a while, but I'm sitting here at my desk right now, weeping like a child. Gareth, if you read this, your talent brought my sweetheart much joy, and now I've got another beautiful song to remind me of him, thanks to you. Keep doing what you do, it matters!
