Summary: “Make Dua to me, I will respond to you” - Do it properly, you are guaranteed a response. -Dua equated with worship External Etiquettes of Dua: 1. Make dua in a state of purity. Encouraged to do wudu first 2. Facing the Qiblah 3. Raise your hands -shahadah with the raised finger - ask with the palms with your hand (palms facing up, not at you, not the back), palms together or apart - in extreme circumstances: raise your hands all the way up ( extreme desperation) 4. First, praise Allah before asking for anything 5. Be careful about the content of your duas. Your asking for things that are not essential, so think about the after life. Ask in general, not in specifics 5. Conclude your duas by sending salat and salam to the Prophet (S) Good to memorize duas of Quran and Sunnah (most chance of being accepted )… recommended to read this book: Hisnul Muslim Allahumma innee as aluka Al aafiya (Muhammad (S) taught this dua to his uncle) -Oh Allah, save me from any afflictions

Brothers and sisters. Be careful! this so called Sheikh is trying in occasions to preach islam in accordance to his own wishes and interpretations and even allows shirk into islam which is against the principle of monotheism of islamic faith. Better choice for you would be to listen to a true sheikh (islamic scholar) whose ideas are not against the fundamental teachings of islam. Jazakallah kahirun
