This is the first guy to really give Sosa his props. Hats off to 600Breezy! I agree with Breezy though. Chiraq is not as bad as outside people think and is getting better now that Drill exposed and embarrassed the city on the world stage. Gang violence is being treated as a crime now. I mean I live in b Englewood around the corner and a few blocks over from 64th and Normal (Lamron). I sometimes walk to the store or to the bus stop or to the L-station. Never been a crime victim! Thank God for Sosa who without really knowing it activated much-needed community protection from the right people. Englewood is getting a kind of community makeover. Feels good to be treated like people!

This happens on a lower levels a lot. To plenty of kids. I can relate, I had to overcome my own friends, family and even teachers in pursuit of an education. That's the real fight, it's not as glamorous & Romanticize like street violence,. But I only had two sets of clothes my freshman year of high school. I refused to be a follower so I never joined a set, which meant I had to fight all of them everyday. The good that came out of that, was eventually I became good with every set in my city, it took a long while but eventually they started to leave me alone I was one of the only few that could go to any project and play basketball. We have had street ball tournaments where projects played projects I was the only player who played for 3 separate projects over the years. As we grew older and a lot of street dudes began to die or go to jail and we became old heads the O.G's let go of the resentment now you have a crew that's comprised of Bloods/Crips/ALKQN/ Decepts/ Young Lord's who are just old heads and meet in the BX to play hand ball, cards & chess. We have mo sway or pull with the Young gen, tho. We just have the scars from wars, lost time to prison and dead friends that bond us. But every year in the Bronx they have Bronx Day and those who survive return for a block party. No guns No Violence, just memories.

Hey and thank you for the interviews you post. I'm from Denmark and don't know much about the stories of the hood. For me to see, this is a picture of young men trying to survive in a tough world. It hurts my heart to see how hard life is in these places. These boys gets killed every day. The families haw to live without a son, brother or father. It's a sad and fucking hard reality. Everyone should see this, specially those who sit safely in their homes and throw money around themselves.

Good interview. Sad that other street channels don't understand just because you're covering the street, doesn't mean your content should be half ass and ghetto. Only advice is to improve the audio quality, you could always get a lapel mike to block out the random noise

Dotarachi blew up around the same time Keef did. The only different is that Keef had a major artist cosigning him.
@HKNYN18 жыл бұрын
Which major artist was that? I know you don't mean Gucci because keef did it himself lol
@George_12058 жыл бұрын
Keef was just a local star like Lil Durk, and King Louie. I don't like was not playing on any major radio station until Kanye West and his Good Music artists jump on it. Without Dj kenn, Young Chop, and Dj Victoriouz, Keef would not be this far in his Career.
@George_12058 жыл бұрын
First of, I was responding to Michael because he asked which major artist cosign Keef. Apparently you either did not know who cosign him or you just forgot to mention them. That why I took my time to mention the people who played a major part in Keef uprise as the artist that he is today.
