In terms of food selection, quality and overall presentation, that's a 20$ Vegas buffet. There's absolutely nothing to justify that 70$ price tag such as crabs, lobsters, quality meat cuts at the carvery station, etc. Like you said, you are probably paying for the location and the fact that they have the freedom to jack up their prices since there's limited buffet options in the surrounding

It's a different country with higher costs of living . They import from America and all imports are taxed. They also have to make a profit.. how do you expect the prices to be the same. Do your research please.

The seafood salad was actually called a conch salad which is a very flavorful delicacy when prepared correctly. Hope you come back to the Bahamas soon.

Ate there last September, food was amazing. Everything is seasoned well and flavorful, and they have a lot of authentic bahamian dish options. Prices are is higher there for 2 reasons: 1. the majority of the foods in the Bahamas is imported, and it is heavily taxed by the government when entering the country. Those extra costs are passed on to the consumer and results in items costing almost double what it cost in the US. 2. Hotels tend to up price, Atlantis is no different. This is actually the more reasonable priced buffet’s at Atlantis.

I've had the buffet a few times and it's for sure solid. I want to say they have seafood nights on the weekends for a higher price, or at least they used too. That was really good but it was around $100. The price is what it is...anyone who's been to Atlantis before understands. Everything is more expensive, but the resort/village makes the extra cost worth it. Plus it had liquid cheese for MattB.

To everyone saying it is overpriced, welcome to Atlantis. Even when I stayed there over 25 years ago it was overpriced back then. The thing it had going for it was drinking and dining was included. I don't believe it is the same way now.

I was last there in 2010 buffet was about 50 bucks. Everything overpriced. Bottle of water was $5 back then in the beach. Place is beautiful and top notch..used to be anyway..
