As someone who changed house after every year during college I sooooo understand how hard it is. You miss the memories, everything. Often tho it just takes to get to the new place to feel better. I wish you nothing but happiness and good vibes during your time in North Carolina. Take it one day at the time and sooner than you think you'll feel home there! And remind yourselves that whenever you want to visit or even move back someday, Cali will always be there for you!

I moved across the country away from all my grown children and all my grandchildren 7 years ago ,1300 miles away, I cried for 2 years even though we visit every year twice a year, We either go there or they come here, it's been one of the hardest things I ever did in my entire life, missing all my grandchildren growing up was very difficult , you will be fine it's gonna be a lot of adjusting and there'll be a lot of tears on and off, but then the tears will fade and you'll just be very happy when you see them and then when they leave again the tears start again , Emotional rollercoaster ..but you'll have a lot of happy moments, what wonderful adventure I wish you great luck in your new home and your new state.. I live in the South now moved from Rhode Island now I'm in Alabama past 7 years. I sold the house that all my children grew up in that was so sad for me I was leaving behind all the memories all the 1st steps all the births all the growing up everything But I love my new state and I'm very happy,.you are making wonderful new memories and you can always look back on you videos 🥰

It's so fun to watch your guys moving vlogs. My husband and I are going to be making a similar trip next Spring with our 2 toddlers from Idaho to Upstate New York. I love watching your videos because it gives me some ideas on how to help make the trip fun for my kids. The thing I am not looking forward to though is the fact that my husband will be driving the moving truck and I will be driving our big car with our 2 toddlers so we won't be in the same car getting to talk but we will make it work. I am so glad your dad and mom are bringing the dogs. When my two older kids were 2 and 1, we moved across country with 2 babies, 2 dogs, and 2 cats. Never again. You can't pay me enough. It was sad to see the house all empty, but here is to new adventures.....

i cant predict the future, or decide anything for you guys, but i would recommend moving back to cali or closer to cali when jaxton is about 6 or 7 because it will be harder for him to live knowing all the rest of his family is across the country. personally i was born in my now home state of illinois, and i moved to Nevada, knowing all my family was in illinois. it wasd a really hard for me and i became depressed from not having cousins to talk to. we moved to nevada when i was 2, and moved back when i was 9.

Moving away is just apart of life. They have said North Carolina isn't their final destination but if it turns out to be than so be it. They can always travel to visit family or family can travel to visit them. There's an awesome thing called FaceTime. I think Jaxton will be completely fine no matter what. Cassie and Carlos are amazing parents and will do what they can as parents to ensure Jaxton is happy and knows his family.

Me and my family stay in holiday Inn all the time and if you get the Holiday Inn club vacation membership you can state any holiday and you won’t like anywhere in the world any place anytime for cheaper than what you would pay if you’re not a member and it doesn’t only just work at Holiday Inn it will sometimes work others.💖

A lot of hotel's have baby cribs you have to let them know usallly at no cost. They also have cot beds for kids the bigger hotels have these things. Just ask for what you need. Because of babies or kids,thought you might not know that . Drive safe. How is taking the U-Haul truck? Love you guys. Jaxton is teething. and not feeling good. You can go to any pharmacy and ask if it's Benadryl what helps stuffy nose for a one-year-old. I sure hope he's feeling better
