I have driven that far to Tennessee with my handicapped daughter, my 86 year old mom, a good friemd and my self through 16 states, in two weeks. it was horrible, fun and exciting. we hit tornados, a forest fire that jumped the freeway in front of me, two blizzards once. White out conditions and ran out of gas in wyoming. the smells in that van were horrendous, Ont op of all of that we were shop hopping for quilters. shop hopping means during a certaintime of the month some states have shop hops of fabric stores. where you get a free pattern and parts of the fabric to make a quilt that has different patterns for blocks from each store. Ohio had so many shops we tried to hit them all. WHEW. finally we realixed we had to buy a car top carrier, because the wheel chair and things my daughter needed took up half of our space, we stopped to launder our clothe s three time, we slept int he van a couple of times, We nested between semi's during a tornado. a dust storm blew up I thinjk it was in Arizona ???? we got in a flood in Tennesee another trip. Its so much fun to drive and I did all of the driving. One time I made it from Washington state coast to Clarksville in 2 days andd 6 hours.

now the poor guy is gun shy. good plans this time, nothing left to guess or by golly. I feel bad for Derek because it was a natural mistake, trying to know animals with out a scanner for chips is harder than heck. that is such a nice trailer. I think bringing along large bags for cleanout would be smart because you can put things like that in trash cans at truck stops and such, I tell you when we traveled across the country with two babies in diapers we had disposable bags to put the horrible messes in and since it was at eachs top it did not fill any one's trash or be illegal dumpage, ti was in trash cans expecially for travelers.
