I had to get the box of Kleenex out for this one though, it brought back a lot of wonderful memories of my own Mother who has been gone over 15 years. Her favorite flowers were gardenia and iris and I incorporated them into her memorial flowers when I created the arrangements, and I have iris growing in my garden and think about her every time I pick a big bouquet. Simply lovely and exquisite - all at the same time. You are going to think I am making this up, but I am not. I have a Magnolia tree in my front yard. It is surrounded by a bed filled with English Ivy. I have had a heart wish to make a wreath with the Magnolia leaves since around Thanksgiving. In fact, I've wished it several times. I almost bought a wire wreath from Amazon. Instead, I gave up on the idea; because I have been in an arthritis flare and didn't think I could do it. God must have heard my wish. And He used you to show me how easy it is to do. So I am going to try it. Thank you and have a special and joyous Christmas.

I lost my mom Dec 16th, 10 years ago when she was 83. I had literally just finished decorating the tree and was just plugging in the lights when the phone rang, it was my brother telling me she had had a stroke. Christmas is always a little bittersweet. Several years before she passed she had crocheted for me a collection of 20 white snowflakes and every year when I bring them out, I pause and remember the following. I had asked her to make them for me, she did, but I found out later from my dad that she hated making them as her eyes were not as good and her fingers not as nimble as they had used to be so the process was very difficult for her. The fact that she still made them.....

My heart is warm with love and happiness seeing all the beauty & happiness she has instilled in each of you so she would always be with you!❤️ But yet tears are streaming down my face as I know the pain you feel of loosing your mom. This Friday will be six years since I have lost mine and she is was like a carbon copy of your precious mother except she only had 3 children.
