Yeah! My boyfriend and I did the same last April, and it was the best decision ever. Rather than a van, we (he) converted a 7 by 14-foot cargo trailer, intended to haul side by sides. He cut out windows, installed solar, and even got a tiny wood burning stove. Our cat Charlie and wild-dog Elvis love it, and man. I cannot over emphasize how nourishing, fulfilling, inspiring, and freeing it is! We mainly boondocks, but also have been known to plant ourselves on friends driveways and spend quality time with them. We’re *semi* chronicling the adventure; “Kat and Chad are off” if you’re at all interested in the build. We chose a cargo trailer because when we have to go to town for provisions, we don’t have to go through the hassle of packing everything up and potentially losing our spot.

Thank you!!! Solo adventures/empowerment is ✨definitely✨ not going anywhere! BB girl still has quite the long journey of growing into her independence, and I'm not going to let where I live dictate that hehe. I've planned a few solo missions and things I want to prove to myself I can do this season. And once the van is in the picture, my partner has 0 desire to not only be on youtube, but also do any renos himself (he just isn't interested + works full time + is also a student right now) so I don't think much will change :) BIG HUGS 💓
