I'm a seventy-two year old woman sitting at a (pine) table in the centre of England and this late in my life I have become addicted to a man in Tennessee who saws wood, plays guitar, has a cat, and talks like no one I know. Who'd have thought it. You'd better get a new mill soon young man, or I shall be chewing the legs off this table and you wouldn't want me to treat good timber like that would you?

I'm on my sofa in NE Ohio USA. Am 71, soon to be 72, and also a woman and I too enjoy this young man and his wood saw. Always did love the natural look of wood and the ascent of the south. I trust that the new Wood-Mizer will be bigger and better.

I am a 69 year old man and these videos are addictive. Much better than the fake news I see on tv. Keep making them and enjoying your trade. There are a lot of folks who envy you. If my health was not so bad and my knees would take it I'd have to learn this trade. It is very interesting. Wish I had seen one of these videos 50 years ago. I dont know how you part with some of that wood. Have just a super day and God bless!

Heck, I must have watched dozens of your videos & enjoyed them so much that I just kept going, so NOW I have realised that I should have subscribed long ago. I am an 83 year old retired Senior Master of Art in South Australia,. I was retired at the retired on invalidity at the ripe old age of 47 because of the severity of my Arthritis & 20 joint operations, all during school holidays, so I could 'stay in front of my classes'. I now watch videos to distract me from the constant pain, even now after 30+ operations. I love watching videos relating to 'wood' because that was my favoured medium for 'Sculpture work'. There is something about the way you work & produce your videos that fascinates me, so let's keep going. Cheers, Don from South Australia.

Out of high school I worked at the building supply with my dad and uncle. Couldn't wait to run the table saw or plainer. Been shopping for a mill. Like the lucasmill. It's a swing blade set up, but has a slabbing attachment that uses a chainsaw bar and chain. Pros and cons to everything. Enjoyed the video and the comments. You're blessed by some loyal people. That's encouraging. Look forward to the new mill. Thanks for sharing.

You've inspired me to get a saw for my own. When these storms role through coastal Florida they destroy hundreds of beautiful trees most of which end up as firewood or pulp for paper. I expect you already know the that wood dripping in pitch like that is called fatwood. Cut it into finger sized bits and it makes a excellent fire starter. Sold at exorbitant prices in outdoor stores. Not much good for lumber since the resin oozes out for a Long time... your aerial videos show a beautiful part of the world for sure. Thanks for posting.

Nathan, that is the prettiest Southern Pine grain I have ever seen. You did a great job cutting it to 1 x 6. I'm excited for you to get your new sawmill. I enjoy watching your work. You do a great job.

I did carpentry for 34 years. Worked with YP Lumber for years. It was BEAUTIFUL wood to work with. Trim work, staircases 1 x 12 & 1 x 8 risers & skirts stands and paints great. Also makes great siding. Love your vids. GEORGIA Boy
