Great video Cris. And yes same here I am kind of sad about Big Lots. But atleast for the time being atleast some of the Big Lots stores will be open. But anyhow it feels weird. Because I can remember when I first started watching your content. You was living in Pa. And I was in Tn. Then eventually moved to Florida. But now living way North up here in Pa now.

Please tell Jay...im so sorry for his loss. My dads hat sits on my bedpost..my dad was USAF and served in Korea. His loss really was devastating...yet his legacy lives on through me and my 3 sons who knew him as Littles. He was gone when tney became adults. I miss his wisdom so much and the benefits of his wisdom that would have made a difference in my sons lives. A deer...a butterfly..a crow. GOD sends His messengers...to let us know He's listening. Tears shed at my house when we heard Big Lots was closing. Update now that new owners may keep some stores open. Fingers crossed one of our Orlando stores will be one of those.

Big Lots was able to secures a deal to keep hundreds of stores open and protect jobs but unfortunately ours did close. Hope u had a wonderful Christmas. Happy New Year!!!

The day after Christmas I went to At Home and scored a buggy full of Halloween at 75% off!! Got some good items! Doesn't really so christmas so I understand. If I'm shopping christmas it's for black decor that can be incorporated!! Glad you had a great holiday!!!

I read today they found a buyer and they are keeping about 200 stores open under their same name but none have been announced yet. The news article said that would come later. I imagine if the store in your area gets a lot of business it will stay open.

I am not slamming Michaels (I hope) but over the last 5 years their prices seem a bit out of line with other retailers and they are more pricy every year. I like their stuff but can’t usually justify a lot of it. So maybe a key piece here and there. I hope they can get more competitive in the future. I will miss big lots. I have one so close to my house and it has been a god send over the last 15 years. Praying that all the employees get good full time jobs soon. Happy New Year everyone… Haunted Mansion pickups will continue to be year round.

I don’t shop at Big Lots but it makes me sad whenever a retailer goes out of business 😞. I also went to Target on Saturday and it was already wiped out however I found some great deals at T.J. Maxx (e.g., Cath Kidston sheets for $25 that sell for $140 online).

I will miss seeing Big Lots Halloween decor. The company that purchased 400 of their stores owns Roses/Maxway stores in the Carolinas and Virginia. I don't think it willl be the same because Roses and Maxway are more Variety -Dollar Type stores. I like them but Big Lots is a higher price point with higher quality.
