I'm amazed at your generosity. I've seen a few vloggers who are very generous with tipping, esp. to street vendors and small local shops. That is such a nice comment - thank you so much. We didn't want it to be the same as other people, and wanted to help as many people as possible really. Though it might not have made a huge difference to the individuals, hopefully it made them all smile a bit, and made their day that much brighter 😊 It was so nice to work the the barangay chairman to organise it, and we want to go back at some point to maybe try a bigger event! We don't mind that we're small, to anyone who only does this sort of thing when they are a big channel, I'd say to them, why wait? If they're in a comfortable financial position to spend that money, then go and help people less fortunate. We aren't rich, or really well off, but with Emma's dad's help (he actually doubled the meals we initially had planned - we're so grateful!) we hopefully made a bit of a difference ❤️ Thanks for your comment, it has started our day of on such a positive start! 🥰

Though we're still thankful to them for helping promote our country's tourism which helps our economy also. :)

Thank you for visiting our country Philippines, enjoyyy...just ask from locals anywhere you want to go and they will help you like a restaurant or cafe that has aircon and nice place to sit down and relax and enjoy your food. Actually you don’t have to go to those routinely expensive places in the PH. because many would also appreciate places near along Manila such as Tagaytay,Batangas beaches in the South and Ilocos and Bagiuo to the North and transportation is easy and always available anytime, more power to your channel I just subscribed😊

Exactly! Don't get us wrong, BGC (and I'm sure other areas) are nice and well developed. But you don't get to experience what we got to! We were so glad we stayed in Sampaloc as we made so many friends. Also, BGC was far too out of our price budget to consider staying long term haha! 😂

Nice elegant haircut but for a cheap price? Congrats !!! Simple video but very meaningful to those locals who live a simple life in the middle of Manila streets. Sampaloc is an old Manila street that has faced tremendous change due to poverty. Not like slums inTondo but locals are still struggling too.
