As we travel through the area, we'll learn about the native plants and unique ecosystems that make up this volcanic region of Washington. I did the comet trail hike last year. It was absolutely epic. One of the best hikes in the park.

Back in 1999, I used to live on the Toutle river at the base of Mount St. Helens. Geologically similar to Rainier, it was the most picturesque place I've lived (and as I've said before, I've lived in 17 states). Your video reminds me of living there and the trips my wife and I used to take to Mount Rainier and the surrounding area. So beautiful! Thank you again for sharing your adventure with us!
