Yo did u actually watch the into the verse stream? They explicitly said many times that there aren’t gonna be anymore rift characters, instead there are gonna rift event tracks that are based on stars not bosses and there not making rifts grindy anymore

Literally all they have to do with Morty is give him fire ring for his up ground, make the ground jab actually hit where the light color animation is since its the only move in the game it think that doesnt hit you from the color animation, and make his second side air hit more consistent instwad of it whiffing half the time. After that Morty will be easy to actually buff or nerf accordingly. If they put cooldown on mudwall, then morty will be the only character in the game without a consistent way to get opponents into the air since he doesnt have a normal up ground tilt. People spam mud wall and run because his melee is just outclassed, even by mages. Like, theres no reason rick should be able to bully him with melee.
