Sorry to hear of your hay fever. I’ve had it bad for decades. I somewhat manage it by taking an antihistamine first thing every day. Apparently it needs to be taken daily to build up protection from attacks. And it works for me I’ve been debilitated by hay fever so I’m thrilled I found something that really helps. One of my past problems is I’d stop taking my daily maintenance dose, thinking hey no more allergy! Bad idea!! Because in a flash the symptoms were back. So I recommend a daily maintenance dose of a good pharmacist recommended non drowsy medication. BTW they often don’t work well until they’ve been taken for several days, and it’s no use at all to take a double dose or more frequent than once daily because it won’t work any better.

Hi Ritchie my son has terrible hayfever. He takes cetirizine but also he uses a kinetic electronic allergy reliever, it works by changing the histamine levels. It's a nose probe which emits red light and you pop up your nose. My bro in law used it for a couple of years and his hayfever has gone. Amazon has a lot of reviews. Hope move goes well.

I love your sewing space and congratulations on the new place!! As far as plants go, you might consider something called a Pothos. It's an ivy style plant and very easy. It will even grow in low light, but make sure it gets something. I recommend them to people who have not had success with plants, and it just about always works for them! I have a few of them. I love them and have had them for years.

Congratulations on your new move and your new job. It sounds very exciting. Can't wait to see your new sewing space. I loved your old space and got lots of storage ideas from you. I agree with one of your subscribers that Flonase might help you. My husband seems to get better when using it. Good luck and thanks for sharing your good news with us.

Hi Ruthie☺️ one remedy for allergies my daughter and I have used is local honey. It has to come from beekeepers located near your area. The idea is that these local bees use pollen that is probably causing your allergy,so by eating the honey you can gradually desensitize yourself. It takes awhile but seems to work for me.🐝🍺I put it in my tea☺️

Hi Ruthie, I think they say to put some vaseline just inside your nose passages to catch the pollen can help. I do feel for you as I had it once and it's miserable to have 👎. Your sowing space was lovely and you have made use of that space so well 👍. I'm sure you will make a lovely space in your next pad and the best of luck with it all🍀. Congratulations on your new job and I shall miss you not popping up quite so much for now😖. I have the bell ticked so will look forward to seeing you when you do make time. Thanks for all your great vlogging that you have done this year and you have inspired me immensely Ruthie....take care 😊😍😘

Travel sewing tips would be so welcome! At my mum's I just take over her machine but my mother in law doesn't sew and I just end up bored during down time whenever we visit.

I swear by Flonase nose spray. It takes a week or so to build up, but then you are home free for the season. I hope that helps.

I found it really helpful too! I also take Benadryl at bedtime and I've done pretty well this season.

Hi there. Good luck with your new job. I’m also in London but SW London in Putney! I love that you name your dressmaker’s dummy - I think I shall name mine after my Mum who was the biggest sewing influence on my life! I, like you, always keep mine dressed! I hate seeing her naked!

For your hay fever, there is hope! For immediate relief, wash your face and eyes over and over with running water is best. Then keep a handkerchief dampened, tied over your nose and face, during the heaviest part of the air contaminations. Good luck with breathing and your. New house and job. See you soon.
