@PhillipVu that cat life isn’t something you choose it’s something that happens my family helped our first cat who had pinkeye at an age around a week and a half abandoned by his mom in our field after two days of looking for the screaming kitten that could barely walk we took him in he lived happily until last thanksgiving he lived 11 years and passed still showing us live in the months before he would wait for me to get home to greet me and go to sleep with him and on his last three weeks even with steroids he couldn’t jump up on the bed with me his life was constantly filled with love and he loved us back it’s hard now after losing him but I know that while I lost him he had a amazing life with me and my family and much like the kittens you found the probably had a love filled end

My girl was thankfully able to survive the same thing FIP is what she ended up with because it mutated, we spent thousands of dollars on her experimental medication and vet appointments, she had to get injections for 9 months and hated it but is so thankful to be alive and with us. The most contagious during their first two weeks of infection and through their poop, I'm thankful every day my girl was so strong i actually realized in the same way they did for akun, she had two cups of fluid in her chest cavity and it had to he removed we nearly put her down then but we fought so hard and I'm so sorry your boy was too far gone ❤

Here are some cat tips : 1. Please please dont cut a cats nail with nail clippers pointed forward instead tilt them the way the cats claws are growing the bleeding means you cut too much and you cut its nerve 2. Get him a cozy bed this will help making amok learn to stop cuddling you. You can clearly see hes a kitten so he just wants to be close with you for comfort love and heat 3. Please dont play with the cat its uncomfortable for him 4. When bathing make sure you never wash the head 5. Its great to have a scratching post or a cat tunnel to improve amoks and akuns friendship

This is the most heart touching video I have ever seen on youtube, Mainly because I guess It resonates with me a lot. I rescued an abundant kitty 5 days ago. Usually my family is against bring home animals because of financial reasons but when they saw the kitten and how much he needed a home they couldn't say no. And when I say my family enjoyed his company that would be an understatement. Also they made sure I clean his poo. He poops on my bed anyway so I have to clean it my self. Now I sleep on the floor so he can poop comfortably. Despite that the amount of happiness he brought to my depressed family is unimaginable. We named him sonic cause he runs real fast before me instead of following and acts like he was waiting for me. Well... he use to do that till yesterday. Since I picked him up I have noticed he is getting smaller everyday and his eating is decreasing, he is not active as he use to be 2 days ago. I am really concerned about him but I can't afford to take him to a vet. This is one of the saddest moment of my life and I'm just watching him slowly getting weaker. I feel like sonic will face the same fait as akun and I can't do anything about it. That's why watching this video hurts even more. But genuinely, I really appreciate you for making this video. It's not just a video any more. It's a movie... nah It's an emotion.

I"m so sorry Akun didn't make it, and boy was it a HUGE relief that Amok survived! As others have said, you gave Akun comfort and love in his final hours - you've also helped spread precious knowledge to others. I work with a rescue and see it happen all the time: A big-hearted person who is just trying to do the right thing takes in a new pet and immediately introduces them to their existing pets because that's what you do. Nobody tells you about how vital quarantining new pets from existing ones for 10 to 14 days truly is until AFTER something awful has happened, and then they say it like it should be common knowledge. You've reached so many people through this video, and I know for a fact that you have saved a lot more animals than you think simply by sharing this experience.

My dog had parvovirus when he was a few months old, they told us, he would not survive but would try everything, i remember one day before the medical operation, we as a religious family sat down with a photo of him and prayed, he then survived and lived 12 more years. I'm 4 months late to this video, but it came in such a right time. I'm currently coping with the death of my adoptive stray kitten. She was also a healthy, active tabby; and could have grown up healthily if I didn't leave her with my neglectful siblings that day. She ate something and died because of food poisoning. All of it happened in just 2 days. Until now, I can still remember the dreadful feeling when the vet announced to me my baby's death. And coincidentally, she also stayed with me for around 2 weeks. Watching your video is like re-living the 2 weeks my little angel was with me also, that's how that 2 last part hit me extra-hard. All I can say is, that message at the last part, along with how you edit this video, is beautiful and soul-touching. The results don't always matter. What matters the most is... at least we did try to do something positive. I hope that this accident will not discourage you from saving other strays. I guess that's a hope I should keep to myself also lol. Thank you for creating this video, let us all take our time to mourn and recover.
