Saying no: focusing on the “right” opportunities

This panel is comprised of folks who have had to say no, or not right now, in an effort to ensure they aren’t taking on too much or spreading themselves too thin. In academia, sometimes people struggle with different and varying demands on their time and energy, and sometimes you have to learn how to say no so you can focus your energy where it is needed most.
