Over-dx of Thyroid nodules and rushing off to do a Thyroseq test seems like calculated fraud--everybody gets a piece. The patient will be on hormones for the rest of their life, the thyroid removed, and forever testing.

I think the people should consider voting for a real democratic party with an independent state formation to investigate if the King, Prime minister, speaker, cabinet, government, and parliament overall may be guilty of a violation of democratic rights with misleading elections, serious economic crimes, violation of human rights with class society for adults and children, serious environmental crime (force majeure).

I think the Democrats can be a consciously misleading party name with all parties belonging to the Conservative Party, as current political democracy and socialism can only be about going more toward the middle, eg. Social Democrats. The reason may be that the king (head of state) wants to govern the people with full immunity together with the Prime minister and government, parliament, with functional immunity, personal immunity for law decisions and actions, even with the misleading word professional politician.

KEEP PUBLIC HEALTHCARE STRONG AND PAY ALL HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS ACCORDINGLY TO REMOVE THE NEED FOR PRIVATE PAY SURGERY. I would like to share my private pay spinal surgery experience with you. I paid for elective L4 L5 minimally invasive bilateral decompression surgery in Calgary September 25, 2019, costing over 16K with taxes. I had a consultation with the surgeon costing 1300.00. I sustained a fall and I had burning radiculopathy to the right foot and this pain increased with sitting resulting in right groin pain. I could not sit down, lie down and I stood for far too long compromising my musculoskeletal system. I provided the surgeon with a pelvic surgical report from 2 months prior his spinal surgery indicating distended organs (cecum and gallbladder--both on the right side) and explained that the one of two nerve blocks targeted the pelvis area (before pelvic surgery for a rectocele repair) and the second nerve block skimmed the right foot with fleeting results. The surgeon advised me that the second nerve block serves as a "valuable diagnostic tool" indicating the source of pain is from the spinal level. I bought it. I woke up from surgery with no benefit. The surgeon advised me that he had to perform a discectomy "for free" sounding like a hero. I was sick but attempted to be optimistic. I returned to BC after staying with sister in Calgary for one month. I failed to recover and paid for an MRI identifying the L3 L4 as the surgical site. I paid for an L4 L5 and the clinician in BC suggested that all I really needed was a micro discectomy and this procedure is typically covered by healthcare. I relocated to Calgary and purchased an inexpensive home hoping to receive continuity of care a pursue graduate studies. I gave the surgeon a copy of the MRI and he joked about having to check if he operated on the correct level. He did not admit to surgically altering the L3 spinal processes. He referred me to his private pay colleague for my sacroiliac joints. I would learn from three healthcare providers in BC that my sacroiliac joints are fine when I had to return to ensure my father was transferred to a long term care facility. Nothing wrong with my sacroiliac joints? I returned to my new home in Calgary and would discover that the surgeon did surgically alter the L3 spinal processes when I had an Xray of my spine. I was uploading the image to HCPs in Europe for second opinion although I don't have money for such an expense and I am living on long term disability. I spoke with the surgeon and I stated "I know something is wrong below my waist". He was angry and discharged me as a patient due to lack of trust. I paid for a private MRI in Calgary that would identify sacral insufficiency fractures February 2020. I was surprised with diagnosis because my symptoms were the same and worsening. I requested a diagnostic review and the same private pay radiologist would review his own image as a public employee with Alberta health Services. This is not a second opinion. Several healthcare providers in Ontario see no evidence of these fractures and I continue to live with the symptoms that should have disappeared several months ago. Sacral insufficiency fractures heal over time and my symptoms persist suggesting that I do not have fractures leading me to ask "What was present in those February 2020 MRIs if they are not sacral insufficiency fractures?" This is the million dollar question. Whatever is present in the February 2020 MRIs may provide my clinicians with information regarding a diagnosis and a lead to the development of a care plan. I had multiple visits with HCPs and various reviews and several clinicians would say "Don't worry, Dr. X (the surgeon) will take care of everything." Quite frankly, I don't want his care if I feel he has not acted with integrity. I went to ER departments with this pain and would learn I have a right renal aneurysm. "Aneurysms don't cause pain" I was advised by one ER doctor. Well, these sacral fractures are not resolved. In addition, I was dissuaded to have EMG tests by the surgeon's office and these tests would indicate that my symptoms are worsening. Why would I pay my surgeon's colleague for prolotherapy if no one can or will identify the source of my symptoms? I was not going to pay for unnecessary injections until I knew the source of my pain. The surgeon's colleague, a physiatrist, performed an insincere right hip assessment in July 2020 and we know now from an Ultrasound from April 2021 and right hip MRI from January 2022 that I am living with the potential of acetabular femoral impingement and right hip issues explaining, in part, my inability to sit, lie down and stand. I would have bone scans, CT scans, angios, X-rays, ultrasounds etc and I received anonymous emails in July 2021 berating me, my mental wellness, calling me stupid and outlining the surgical procedure in detail. These emails were sent 8 months after I fled Alberta for impartial healthcare in Ontario. I would contact the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Calgary with every new report indicating that I am living with issues involving the spinal surgery performed September 25, 2019, the surgical alteration of the L3 spinal processes and identifying that the source of my symptoms were not spinal related. The authors of these emails advised me that I was an undesirable patient and to "get a real spinal surgeon!" when I explained that I was advised that I have tethered nerves at the L3 L4 level. I am very happy with the orthopaedic surgeon who is investigating my spinal health concerns here in Ontario and I feel that he is acting in my best interest. I have had the benefit--yes...the benefit...of a neurogram and defecogram indicating pelvic issues anterior to the sacrum and sacral nerve issues posterior to the sacrum. I have a dropping bladder--to the right (hmm could this be related to right groin and foot pain?)--a horizontal urethra and a telescopic bowel and I am now living with right hip bursitis, rectus femoris and glut medius tendonosis coupled with a left hamstring tear with sacral nerve root ectasia as a result of not having my issues investigated in a timely manner. This is not a result of the aging process. I am fit, small and engaged in group fitness classes regularly. I was redeemed when an Ontario clinician gently advised me: "Do not be too hard on yourself...the surgeon had the responsibility to ensure adequate testing before surgery and after surgery when you failed to recover." This did not happen in Calgary. Public healthcare is superior (perhaps not in Alberta) and I say this after consulting with the orthopaedic surgeon in Ontario who stated "I have to be sure of what is going on before any surgical intervention." I was not asking for surgery and I am actually very afraid of making the same mistake twice coupled with living with this pain that has worsened since private pay surgery. We need to protect this public healthcare that I have experienced first hand in Ontario. My experience in Calgary where I paid for ineffective and unnecessary spinal surgery has resulted in the use of tens of thousands of dollars of finite healthcare resources and I believe the authors of those berating anonymous emails know where the problems lies and considered me to be some sort of cash cow. Yes, go ahead, call me a cow and I will reproduce emails and telephone conversations that all indicate that private pay spinal surgery was performed without adequate testing, was not helpful or needed, and served to create even more health concerns resulting in the use of much needed finite healthcare resources. There is no more money. The well has run dry.

There must be a way to 'net' the people who fall through the cracks. The new Connect Care will be a step into the modern informational world and enhance continuity of care.To change the culture of patient support , translated advocacy, it must start at the door, on the door of the institution. We have signs everywhere which denounce 'abuse' but not one to welcome the whole family into the healthcare machine.
