@@LukewarmMouse You're projecting a lot of your own insecurities if you need the pretense (and only the pretense) of "skill" to enjoy a well laid and executed plan, wheter it's a shitstorm of a trap / herding or an amazing ability to click heads while being nicely positioned (and that's the main ability most of the top streamers have over aim itself). What they are doing here is dirty, but not "easy" and certainly not with something anyone can pull of, just like insane headshots at 200+m in a half second peek. It's not like they were hunting 2 stars either, i'm 5>6* and i got there by clearing my extracts and sensing when i'm getting funneled into trouble, all of these victims just lacked some humble acceptance that they are not the only clever ones in a game.

Crytek did a pretty good job of shrouding the extracts in trees and hills. It's nearly impossible to sit 200m away and get a clear shot at an extract, which I am sure is by design. You kind of have to get close.

@@sayler1 Lawson Delta, Godart Docks, north extraction, got fucked there by snipers sitting near the field east of godart so many times DeSale, between Seven Sisters and Fort Bolden, on the river, i think, but i'm not sure that it's that exact extract. There's a bridge around 150m away that has a clear view of a water extract that only has low bushes around. High-ground for snipers + no cover for extractors = great feeling Those 2 in particular got me frustrated to the point of deleting the game

I really don't like the possibility of you influencing hunt community this way. This game is meant to be played by shoooting, not waiting for 10 minutes in the same spot, killing players in the most unfair way possible. Because you're a kinda known hunt youtuber, you give other players example, and if they actually copy you, the game'll be soon unplayable. And for the disclaimer, no I haven't been killed by you, but I'm really worried what this community may turn into because of you.

I think you are overestimating my reach. I have been making videos like this for nearly a year now, and I have never even once seen someone do this in game. Not a single time. How many times have you been death trap extract camped? I bet none. I have never seen anyone using the play dead strategy, never seen anyone necro extract camping, nothing. None of my goofy strategies have taken off. The average person doesn't have the patience.

As someone that plays the game activly and happens to be around 3.2k elo usually i have gotten quite good at dealing with this shit its annoying to play against because its just kind of a waste of time, but i can def see the appeal. I will say that most people that play like this are usually mechanically a lot worse than other people in their elo because you just dont fight as much. Tbh idm how anyone plays the game but i feel like under those types of videos people accept any kind of playstyle as long as it doesnt include a mosin. To me this "meta abuser" notion has always been a lil weird. Very funny vid and im actually planning to do this too soon :D

i noticed the disclaimer that said you "are just having fun playing a video game" and i'm curious about that statement. given that you're playing a multiplayer game, the enjoyment typically comes from interacting with other players who are real people. they have bounty tokens, so you know where they are on the map, and it seems counterintuitive and unfun (but very effective, unfortunately) to opt for a passive strategy, such as what you did in the beginning of the video. this approach leaves your opponents with little engagement, resulting in a tedious experience of aimlessly navigating the map without any encounters. consequently, this leads to a lack of engagement, as players become disinterested and, unfortunately, get sent back to lobby after all that with no opportunity for meaningful participation due to the overwhelming monotony. i'm not mad or anything, i'm just genuinely trying to understand the mindset behind this playstyle and how it can be fun. personally, not only do i fail to find the enjoyment in playing like this, but it also appears disrespectful towards opponents who, as mentioned earlier, are real people seeking an engaging experience. the reason this playstyle seems so dull to me it actually makes me feel uncomfortable could very much be ADHD, but even if that's the case it's so difficult to imagine a real breathing human being sitting in front of his monitor, not pressing any buttons and thinking "yeah, i'm having fun playing a video game".

The disclaimer is there so you, the viewer, understands that we aren't taking this seriously. We realize this is an unfair way to kill people, and we don't think we are better players than them. Regarding how this is fun, you must not have watched the video because my partner and I discuss the answer to your question near the end: It's about the delayed gratification, the build up of sneaking around the map, quietly placing traps, herding our opponents into the extract, and finally seeing our patience and efforts pay off as our opponents realize they have fallen into a trap. At the end of your comment you say its "difficult to imagine a real breathing human being sitting in front of his monitor, not pressing any buttons", but it's not really like that. In two of the clips in this video, the game only lasts 10 minutes because the banish happened so quickly. We were rushing to place traps as quickly as possible and get to a safe distance. Near the beginning of the video I even use the term "rat speedrun". In the instances where we did have to wait, its not like we are sitting there in silence. My partner and I are long-time real-life friends, and we enjoy each other's company. We are chatting and laughing the whole time, and as a result, we are rarely bored. I don't know if you have seen any of my other videos, but if you did you would quickly notice that I almost exclusively play in unconventional ways. I don't get enjoyment from playing the game normally; running around the map getting in gunfights. I did that for over 1000 hours and I'm bored of it. All I care about now is getting funny kills by using unconventional strategies, which happens to be the whole purpose of my KZbin channel. Sorry for the long answer, but you asked a long question.
