Clearly this about a guy who lived a life of depression, who fell in love with the idea of death. After he attempted suicide, he was stuck in a coma, he (in his incapacitated state) was sought out by the angel of death that he had long dreamed of. Yet due to his feeling trapped in depression, he felt chained down by his feelings. And in the end he finally got what he wanted as death reached him, and he said with a tear good-bye to the earth, as the Angel of death kissed him and took his hand.
