Fellow actress here- I do get her point. As we do spend our lives with people dressing us, changing our hair, makeup, etc., it is nice to of course pick things just for you, and she was making that known, which is fair. The costume department isn't dressing her for a role here. SHE is dressing HERSELF for HER wedding, rather than costume for her character. She was however I do agree with Monte that she absolutely wasn't there for the right reasons.

Agree - I think the commenters are just fans of Monte and are overlooking his lack of professionalism. She is PAYING thousands, and has the right to choose a style that SHE likes. He was out of line by disregarding what she asked for. If an associate was blatantly disrespectful, I wouldn’t want to buy from them either. I think she narrowed down choices in her mind but wanted to give the sale to someone respectful and professional.

The dress is thousands of dollars, and the jewelry that she will wear is a dime a dozen. You also need to think that, if she makes him seriously angry, then there may be a lot that didn't make it onto the camera. And notice she doesn't pick a dress in the end.
