"has her re-thinking the final chapter of her story"? No... no it doesn't! She came in with no intention of leaving with anything other than the dress that was half again her grandpa's budget. She only tried on the other 2 to make it LOOK like she was willing to consider something else. And naturally that dang Monte was willing to jump right in there and help her pressure grandpa into feeling like he has to go along with it. They didn't even TRY to "jack her up" (I hate that term) in the other options. The dress she loved is SO unflattering on her; the ballgown was WAY better! It really accentuated her waist, sparkled beautifully and IMHO made her look a lot classier.

I disagree. The bridesmaids will be manipulated into spending more than their own budgets on their dresses, accessories and the bridal shower. The bride alone should be getting a part-time job for the next year (until the wedding) to pay for the "upgrade?" to her dream dress.
