27k dress and not happy. It's not about the drees. She should be focusing on having a great marriage and not spending so much money that your rip your relationship apart in the process. I can promise you from someone who's been married a long long time that fighting over money and money being spent will send you to a divorce. Smh. No one needs a 27k dress. Wanting and needing are two very different things. Learn that sooner rather then later. Money and cheating is the root of all evil.
@TrinhNguyen-sh4fjАй бұрын
Exactly and many place too much importance on a one time dress and having a big wedding which are not that important at all. It is the marriage that is important. Having an expensive dress is not a need or requirement but a want. Most people don’t even pay attention to what the bride wears. Yes, spending money like this is a huge red flag. My sister in law rented her dress for only a few hundred and returned it after the wedding. She said she was never going to wear it again. She has been happily married for over 20 years now and no longer remembers her dress at all. Plus, at our weddings, we 2-3 other ones so the white wedding dress becomes even less significant. Yup, having the same views in regard to money are extremely important in a marriage. Money and yes, cheating are 2 big things that can break or make any marriage fast.

I can’t believe the number of comments against this bride. If I’d paid that amount of money for a custom dress and it was not what I thought it would be, I’d be pissed. Especially if I’d sat down with the designer to go through the design process. If it was an impossible design to do in the fabric I wanted, that should’ve been said at the design stage. Not after it was made incorrectly to what I was told I was getting. And then the consultant and the family kept pushing her onto a lace dress when she explicitly said she didn’t want lace. She clearly never wanted lace as the dress she had designed had no lace on it. She was strong armed into that 2nd dress. I’m really surprised at how many comments were against her saying she’s spoiled. If I’m spending that amount of money on my one wedding dress, it better be exactly what I’d been told I was getting. The dresses aren’t my style at all. But it’s not my wedding. The fact that she had her dress designed to exactly what she wanted and reality to turn out completely different, it’s understandable that she’d be comparing any dress to the dream dress she had envisioned.
@kinyth7258Ай бұрын
Thank you! I was looking for that comment. She stated that she didn't like the custom dress she spent 20k on and which didn't turn out the way she wanted it to be. As a designer you should know what fabric can do and what not and if the design the customer has in mind will work in reality and if it doesn't it's the designers fault and not the customers fault. Also whats wrong with removing the lace from the second dress? Personally I liked it a lot more without the lace too, because it looked way cleaner and not so busy. And just because she wants to wear the lace as something to cover her shoulders doesn't mean she has to wear a lace skirt.

This is what happens when you don’t have a reasonable budget. You become a diva who can’t make up her mind. Ridiculous behavior. People are starving in the world or don’t have a place to sleep and she can’t decide on a $27,000 dress. Truly a sin.
@TrinhNguyen-sh4fjАй бұрын
Yup, and that’s what my mom taught me. She said that many are starving and homeless so don’t ever spend wastefully. It is a big sin.
@jb6712Ай бұрын
While I disliked the bride's attitude--btw, this episode is from 2008--why should it be anyone else's concern how much or little "she" spends on anything? Sure it's wrong to waste money, no matter how many people are hungry in the world, but if she reduced Dad's budget (which she clearly did not do), is that going to magically take food to the millions who are starving? No? Didn't think so.
@navi6762Ай бұрын
Why on earth would you want the bust to be see-thru?! Then she picks another more expensive dress and plans to cover it up with a shawl? Goodness 😅 couldn't they have just put a lining on her custom dress if she was willing to ditch the see thru aspect?

When ever you design something you have to take into consideration what a fabric can handle. This little girl thinks of herself as a "designer" but hasn't learned a thing about the physics of fabric and embellishments. I personally don't like her "taste" but eh, to each his or her own.

Can we please talk about that she ordered a dress for a lot of money and didn't get what she ordered? Of course this whole thing is ridiculous, but I kind of dislike that in this comment section she only seems to be some spoilt difficult princess. She's a customer and they pay a huge amount of money. She has the right to receive what she ordered.

This is so upsetting to watch because I’ve seen so many people with less expensive wedding dresses (even custom ones) have to pay more for alterations when there is some kind of miscommunication on the design/original alteration plans. Why do they meet in the middle for this woman’s dress when she’s taking the more expensive one? Am I missing something?
@jb6712Ай бұрын
"Upsetting"? Why would anyone invest their emotions in something that's meant strictly to be entertainment and has absolutely nothing to do with their own life? The episode is from 2008, 16 years ago, so you're literally throwing away energy on something that's way long in the past.
