They both absolutely _glow_ when they speak of each other. They also genuinely seem to like each other, enjoy one another's company, and support each other. If their dynamic throughout life is similar to what we see here in this vid (and I strongly suspect it is), they're going to have a long, happy marriage.

I tried to do that because I had concerns and he begged me not to leave. I used my mother’s inheritance to pay for the wedding, honeymoon and buy a house and in the end he took me financially as well as abusing me physically. I did what was needed to get out of the marriage after 6 years. He even took my dog saying that we should keep the dogs together. I agreed because I didn’t want to get hit again.

Hi Moon and other readers! There is a part 2 to the bride whose groom called off the wedding. The Bridal manager talked her into keeping the gown. A year or 2 later, the bride came back to Klienfelds for alterations because her current boyfriend proposed and they had a wedding date. 🎉 🥳 TLC even televised her, getting out of the limo, etc. So she used the gown and got married to someone who really loves her. ❤

It goes both ways so you wonder if it was her who was bad. I wonder why everyone jumps straight to blaming the guy and calling him a jerk? My cousin divorced after less than 2 years of marriage. They had a big wedding and spent over $100,000. Of course, my uncle and aunt blamed the guy. But my cousin was at fault too. She was high maintenance and he did not have much money. Bad combination right there. There are 2 sides to a coin.

that's why you don't spend FIVE FIGURES on a dress for ONE DAY. how does she know when the right man comes along that she'll even want to look at that dress again? many brides feel like their first wedding dress is inextricably tied to that first fiance, seeing the dress just brings back memories of him. she could end up planning an entirely different wedding that requires an entirely different look for her dress. she could end up eloping!

@@jessiejoseph1093 $11,000 is a lot of money for most people. No one should spend that much. I read of parents in their 50's or 60's spending $50,00o plus on a wedding for their daughter and then having nothing saved for retirement. that does not even make sense. because guess what, if one of them become sill the daughter will have to financially support them. If you don't have it, don't spend it. I also read where one guy called off the wedding because he found out his fiancé spend $10,000 on a dress maxing out her credit card and he saw the future that she would keep them in debt. No, if you don't have the money buy a more modest gown of $2000 or less and only have only close family/friends at a small wedding at home.

My heart aches for the second bride. My dress was custom made, shoes and vail too. He did it all. Thing is I never even got to see the dress. He bailed on the day we were to leave for our wedding. He canceled everything, never even said goodbye to me. Emailed my son 2 words, I'm sorry......so I know how it feels.

It’s unfortunate that Kleinfield’s couldn’t give her some of the deposit back & sell the dress to someone else since it was never even worn.
@thehungrygoldfish
@thehungrygoldfish 2 күн бұрын
That is what they do when the bride decides to not keep the dress. Kleinfelds keeps the dress and tries to sell it to another bride at a deep discount. You have to keep in mind that the deposit can’t be refunded once it goes into production. It just can’t happen.

The called off wedding maybe sad but we have not been given both sides to what really happened. It’s unfortunate that she spent that kind of money, I have been there and married the guy anyway only to be taken financially. Sometimes people have to really watch their backs before moving forward, I’ve already made all my biggest mistakes because of bad choices that I had no insight on due to being overly trusting and not taking the time to really get to know the person. My bad big time 👍👍

We don’t know the reason the fiancé cancelled the wedding. Paying that much on a dress, makes you think it was going to be a full on wedding. Maybe the wedding was becoming more important than the marriage and the fiancé felt that. I’m not saying that was the reason, but better to cancel a wedding before than have a divorce after. Having said that, glad she has found someone else and got to wear the dress.
@thehungrygoldfish

@@thehungrygoldfish You kind of missed the point. I meant maybe there was more focus on the wedding (one day) as opposed to the marriage (which one hopes will last a lifetime). Perhaps the groom felt that and couldn’t see them as life partners. Obviously we don’t know why he made the decision that he did, but surely better to separate before the wedding, than get divorced.
@thehungrygoldfish
@thehungrygoldfish Күн бұрын
@@stelladowsett7151 I knew what the point was. My point was that if it was truly because of that, then they would’ve called the wedding off and had a smaller wedding. It wasn’t about the wedding. It was about the relationship.

@@thehungrygoldfish That’s exactly what I mean!!! Perhaps he felt she was more interested in having a wedding day, rather than being married. Two totally different things. One’s a big party - and the other maybe not so much. Still it’s all hypothetical, we don’t know. I was just trying to give a different perspective because some comments were negative towards the groom. Perhaps he was gay, perhaps he cheated, perhaps he fell out of love, whatever. Let’s just hope they are both happy. She’s had her wedding and worn her 11k dress and he’s???
@thehungrygoldfish
@thehungrygoldfish Күн бұрын
@@stelladowsett7151 No, that’s not what I meant. What I meant was the reason would’ve been related to the relationship, not the wedding. Also, keep in mind that a lot of people have big weddings not because the bride wanted it but because their families wanted it. You’re assuming a lot of things that we just don’t know. I know a lot of people who personally did not want a big wedding but they were forced by their parents.
