She ran straight back to the cafe where people were eating.. smelling bacon and there was another dog there to play with.. he WHISTLED her back.. or tried to. I had given him instructions on her words for recall.. and he didn't use any of them. I even told him to walk her on his left side as I do.. and all the right words she was trained to. She ran off TOWARDS THE ROAD. He told me about it when he came back. I was so angry with him and he blamed her for not coming back to his whistle. I was getting a lumpectomy.. not a masectomy and I explained the difference. 3 weeks later he rang and asked.. 'are they CUTTING off your breast then?' This reminds me of a loved one who used to know it all and would act like this lady...I am surprised that life hasn't humbled this lady. I am glad it did my friend. He doesn't try to bully people around anymore....although every once in a blue moon the contempt smile shows up....but he made huge strides.

Simple dresses make the bride stand out and are much more timeless. This episode is old, but the dress she chose would still be nice today.

I can't with the mom. She's a bit of a control freak & the dad, just sort of sits there passively. YOu know who is the head of the household with that woman. I grew up with parents like that. It's not the most pleasant dynamic & I can relate some to te impact on the daughter. She is sort of nervous & just wanting a constant exit strategy out of the situation & likely has ALOT to do with growing up with that type of parent. I went through it to & had to do a lot of healing work around it. When a parent gets that sort of forceful on their child about doing certain things a certain way, it carries over & affects them in their adult life & relationships. Good thing is, it seems like she has a more stable & confident man in her life, that speaks up a bit more than her own dad, because it seems like her mom never really allowed her dad to even have the upper hand... even when he told her that he knew that second dress was the one, the mom HAD to tell him, the second dress, ALTERED... like REALLY? Can you just let other people have their moment, or be right, instead of constantly interjecting why they're wrong?
@TrinhNguyen-sh4fj7 ай бұрын
Yes, I can tell this woman is a total control freak. I bet her husband is hen pecked. How does he put up with this woman?
@lucindaarmour46855 ай бұрын
Ladies - buy your own gown. Pay for your own wedding. Parents can contribute to the honeymoon or to the drinks package. Let it be yours. Never regret having a small wedding. its beautiful and the thousands spent on a dress can go towards your amazing life together - something that matters. What does any of it mean if your husband is there helping you choose? Just stand up to your values and what matters to you and if you want to elope or have a small service THEN GO FOR IT.
