The bottom of the second dress was not that great. It wasn't her figure though, it just wasn't structured properly. The hip section wasnt flowing well with the bottom section. It should have been all one piece from her waist to her toes but it was cut off and added on mid calf making it look choppy.

Exactly. When my BFF got married, some of the bridesmaids tried to gang up on one girl, who had recently given birth and was a bit heavy. The bridal shop had nothing in her size, and she was in tears; the other girls were merciless. I told them to knock it off-we were to choose something that looked good on ALL of us. Further, I reminded them that it wasn't our day-it was the bride's-and our job was to let her shine. That didn't sit very well, but it piped them down. We went to another bridal shop entirely, and found dresses. Truth be told, I wasn't delighted with how it looked on me, but went along with it to keep the peace. It was a lovely day, and we all survived.
