I hope you get to know BINI, our nation's girl group. Their music brings happiness, perfectly matching their genuine personalities. They are the most unfiltered idol group you will ever see, and they are so chaotic! I never thought that BINI would become this big, thanks to 'Pantropiko' and the OG Blooms who never stopped promoting the girls. 'Pantropiko' changed their lives, and people started digging into their discography, discovering that they have many hidden gem songs. One of them is 'Karera,' which reflects the girls' journey through all those years of nothing happening in their career. After sacrificing their teenage years, education, and time with their families, their hard work has finally paid off. BINI and SB19 have been through a lot, and I think other PPOP groups have similar untold stories. They all deserve to be recognized not just in the Philippines but also on the world stage. With BINI and SB19 leading the way, the future of PPOP is bright

BINI members are all in their 20s, and their leader is Jhoanna, who answers second after Justin in the first question. Get to know BINI; they are chaotic, funny, and authentic. Their vocals and dance synchronization (which they are well-known for) are incredible. Be sure to check out their 'Lagi' dance and vocal practice, along with 'Pantropiko,' 'Salamin Salamin,' 'Cherry on Top,' and the 'Strings' MV and dance practice

BINI went back to US as 1st ppop act at KCON in LA & most attended fan panel there. They did ASAP California then 4 sold out BINIverse Canada shows before that had PH nationwide tour teasing the big dome for a Grand Biniverse. They sold out Araneta Coliseum aka the big dome (for 3-days Nov 16-19) in 2 hours. They just got chosen by the Grammy's as Top rising girl group. Those 2 groups combined are bigger than 80% of Kpop now. Even some Global pop groups now calling themselves PPOP when they didn't before!

How time destined these 2 groups to become the front acts leading PPOP! From their early years collaborating on 'Kabataang Pinoy' to now being the 2 biggest PPOP groups, their stories are truly inspiring. All I wish is for these 2 groups to become internationally big. I want the world to see them perform, with SB19’s electrifying performances that will hype up the crowd and BINI’s synchronization and harmonies that will shock everyone a group that can harmonize while dancing

If you want to know more about BINI, they just released a documentary called Born To Win (also the name of their debut single) on iWantTFC. It's the first of 3 parts. They are the only active pop group I know that was formed from a secret project. So none of the girls knew they were going to be part of a girl group. All of them auditioned to join a reality show as housemates of Big Brother or some other talent show (Got Talent/The Voice).

The reason why I Aiah speaks fluent in English is because she's a not just a DEAN's lister she's also a former beauty queen with a title holder of MISS SILKA 2018 before joining the BINI and she's also speak fluent in BISAYA. She was born in CEBU located in the Visayan region one of the smallest of the three biggest island of the philippines (LUZON in the north and Mindanao in the south).

15:38 She's Aiah from BINI, and she's a Cebuana or Sugbuanon/Sugbuhanon both by demonym or by her place of birth, residency, or where she spent most of her life, childhood and/or education, and also by ethnicity or by her ethnic or ethnolinguistic group, people group, nation, community or cultural community, as she's from Lapu-Lapu City, (Metropolitan Cebu), (Province of) Cebu, and she's also a native and first-language Cebuano speaker. Cebuano, is aka Bisaya, Binisaya or more specifically as Sinugbuanon, Sinugbuhanon, Sinugbuanong Bisaya, Sinugbuhanong Bisaya, Sinugbuanong Binisaya or Sinugbuhanong Binisaya, to really specify and differentiate or distinguish it from the other Visayan or Bisayan languages which are also called, named or referred to as Bisaya or Binisaya, like Hiligaynon and Waray, among many others. Cebuano people from Cebu and the rest of the Central Visayas, rest of Visayas (central Philippine), most parts or areas of Mindanao (southern Philippines), some parts of Luzon (northern Philippines), and in Metro Manila or NCR, are more used, proficient to fluent, preferring and/or comfortable to speak and write or communicate in their own Cebuano language (or more specifically in their own dialect of Cebuano and in also in or the standard or standardized Cebuano), maybe also in other Visayan, Bisayan, Bisaya or Binisaya languages, and in English, rather than generally in Filipino or more specifically in Tagalog, except those in Luzon (northern Philippines) and Metro Manila or NCR, because they don't need to use Filipino and especially Tagalog in their province and region, as Cebuano is the native and first language of the majority of the population of her city, metropolitan area, province and the rest of her region, including the neighboring provinces of neighboring regions (Central Visayas, eastern Negros Island Region and western Eastern Visayas), as well as it is the native common language or lingua franca of those same places. Cebuano is also the second language or one of the second languages of most of the other people in her city, province, region and neighboring provinces of neighboring regions. English is also more preferred in these parts, areas, provinces and regions of the Philippines than the national Filipino or than the local, provincial and regional Tagalog. So, there's no need for them to be even proficient to fluent enough in Filipino or in Tagalog, because they're not native and ethnic or ethnolinguistic Tagalog people and they're not native and first-language Tagalog speakers for them to need Tagalog, and they already have Cebuano, English and/or other Visayan, Bisayan, Bisaya or Binisaya languages as their common languages or lingua francas, and their places, areas, provinces and regions aren't that much multilingually and multi-ethnically or multi-ethnolinguistically diverse and varied for them to need Filipino as a native common language or lingua franca and as an interg-ethnic or inter-ethnolinguistic language, as Cebuano, English and/or other Visayan, Bisayan, Bisaya or Binisaya languages are already serving a lot of these functions and purposes that both and individually Tagalog and more especially Filipino should serve in their provinces and regions. That's also why maybe Aiah prefers or is more comfortable to speak or communicate in English than in Filipino, Tagalog or a mix between those, like Taglish (Tagalog or Filipino + English, with Tagalog or Filipino as dominant language) or Englog (English + Tagalog or Filipino, with English as dominant language). She might also prefer or be more comfortable to speak or communicate in Bislish (Bisaya + English, or more technically Cebuano + English) or in Bisalog (Bisaya + Tagalog, or more technically Cebuano + Filipino, which still makes it or makes Bisalog as part or a dialect, variety, variant, variation, version or form of Filipino, because its a mix, code-switching and/or code-mixing between or among Tagalog and one or more of the other languages of the Philippines), more than just in full Tagalog or just in Taglish or Englog without any influences and contributions from Cebuano. By the way, Colet from BINI is also a native and first-language Cebuano speaker the same as Aiah, but maybe of a different dialect from Aiah, because she's from Tagbilaran City, (Province of) Bohol, a neighboring province of Cebu, and with a different, distinct or unique dialect than those from the rest of the Province of Cebu and from Urban Cebu or Metropolitan Cebu / Metro Cebu, especially compared to the dialect of Cebuano in central Bohol. She's a Boholana or Bol-anon both by demonym or by her place of birth, residency, or where she spent most of her life, childhood and/or education, and also by ethnicity or by her ethnic or ethnolinguistic group, people group, nation, community or cultural community. Language-wise, both Colet and Aiah speak the same language but originally of two different dialects. Aiah originally speaks more of the Urban Cebu or Metropolitan Cebu / Metro Cebu dialect and Colet originally speaks more of the Bohol, Boholano or Bol-anon dialect or somewhat closer to the dialect of Cebuano from the rest of the Province of Cebu, but both of them can communicate, understand and comprehend each other or one another through their knowledge, understanding, comprehension, learning and acquisition of a or the standard or standardized Cebuano dialect based on the dialect of the rest of the Province of Cebu, especially the dialect of Cebuano from Carcar to Dalaguete municipalities of southeastern Province of Cebu, that is used, promoted, popularized and taught through their collective regional mass media, literature and education, academic, scholastic and other learning curricula, as well as regional political, legal, official and government programs, services and communications. Also, in this interview, it seems that Colet is more comfortable or prefers more to speak in Filipino or in Taglish than in full English compared to Aiah.

Yea, it is a normal thing here in the Philippines when you are in a middle class family to upper class family, majority prefer to teach their children English language than our native language
@Skip-Kilat
@Skip-Kilat 2 ай бұрын
@@C0L3T-Vi dont think they prefer english over the other. parents (like me) prefer our kids to be at least bilingual or, for many, tri- or multilingual. they only actively teach kids english because it isn’t an everyday language… because no matter what the local tongue will always be picked up naturally….
@dr.quinnzel7284
@dr.quinnzel7284 2 ай бұрын
@@C0L3T-Vwell yes but also some parts of the Philippines just have no need to learn Tagalog because it’s just not something that’s very present in their local community. I was tri-lingual for most of my life I learned Tagalog, Ilokano, and English because generally that’s what’s spoken in my hometown but when I moved to like a different province I noticed that some kids just can’t speak comfortably to you unless you’re speaking in Ilokano. So yeah despite Filipino (Standardized Tagalog) being a national language it’s a testament to our diversity that sometimes it is not widely spoken in a lot of areas.

@@dr.quinnzel7284true. In my hometown, tagalog still a rarity. Only taught in school. It's either hiligaynon or English when talking to people and mostly English when it comes to kids.

@@dr.quinnzel7284 okay, but I don't know if that is a reply to my first or second comment, but either way my comment still somewhat holds true, Mikha(20+ years of age) grew up in Metro Manila, she did not go to any international schools but still not familiar with the word "Pasensyoso" which is not even a deep Filipino word, I feel like I'm repeating myself. But I just want to let you know that I'm not dismissing your statement because I totally get what you mean, but Mikha, again, grew up in Metro Manila which everyone is Tagalog

9:36 *Batangueño Tagalog* (or as Maloi said "Batangueña", maybe because she's a female from the Province of Batangas and a female native and first-language speaker of Batangueño Tagalog, thats why she said that), aka Batanggenyo Tagalog or Batangan Tagalog, is one of the local, provincial or regional dialects of the Tagalog language, as in the native, indigenous, local, provincial, regional, traditonal and more exclusive and more puristic Tagalog language than the more general, nationwide, national, modern or modernized, urban or urbanized and also standard or standardized, codified, official, more intellectualized and more inclusive Filipino language. This dialect originated from the Province of Batangas (which is where Maloi is from), located south and southeast of Metropolitan Manila (Metro Manila) or the National Capital Region (NCR) of the Philippines, which on the other hand, natively, indigenously, locally, regionally and mainly, majority or predominantly speaks the Manila Tagalog, Manileño Tagalog, Manilenyo Tagalog or Manilan Tagalog dialect of the Tagalog language, another one and the most popular and influential of the dialects of the Tagalog language, which serves as one of the de facto bases of the Filipino language, because the Tagalog of Manila, Metro Manila or NCR is more mixed, with language code-switching and code-mixing among languages being more common, and is more evolving, developing, enriching, changing, inclusive, accepting, adapting and adopting of diverse and varied or various influences and contributions from the other languages of the Philippines and other languages or foreign languages (which is what ideally the Filipino language is compared to what the Tagalog language is) that Filipinos from the other regions who are mostly non-Tagalogs and non-native and non-first-language Tagalog speakers and also that non-Filipinos who don't speak or arent proficient to fluent in any one of the languages of the Philippines, bring with them to Manila, Metro Manila or NCR, slowly changing, evolving, developing and enriching their dialect of Tagalog there among native and first-language Tagalog speakers and other non-Tagalog and non-native and non-first-language Tagalog speaking people closest to them, and in turn or consequently also evolving, developing and enriching the Filipino language of, in or within and from their entire region, as the common native language of their region among most or the majority of its regional population, before influencing the Filipino language of the rest of the Philippines and beyond through Philippine national and international mass media, national literature in the national or nationwide native common language or lingua franca, national government and other official, political, legal and institutional programs, services and communications, and through national education, academic, scholastic and other learning systems and curricula as a language, language arts, communication arts and/or literature subject or course and/or also as a language or medium of instruction or education for other subjects or courses, usually in social sciences or social studies and the humanities. There are some words, vocabulary or lexicons, as well as phrases, greetings, expressions, slangs, titles and honorifics, terms of endearment, idioms or idiomatic expressions, grammatical differences, spelling variations, and distinct or distinguishing and unique pronunciations, intonations, accents, etc. in or from Batanggenyo Tagalog and in the other dialects of Tagalog outside Manila, Metro Manila or NCR in or within and from the other mainly, majority ot predominantly Tagalog-speaking provinces, especially in or within and from municipalities and more rural parts or areas of cities rather than the urban or urbanized parts or areas of cities, that aren't used, known, understood or popularized through mass media and literature in the local and regional Manilenyo Tagalog nor in the national or nationwide as well as already international Filipino language, because these aren't all included, added, incorporated, mixed, integrated, adopted, promoted or taught as parts of the local and regional Manilenyo Tagalog nor in the national or nationwide as well as also international Filipino language. It's a bit challenging for a Filipino or a non-Filipino who only knows, only can understand and comprehend, and/or also only can communicate, write and/or speak in Manilenyo Tagalog from Manila, Metro Manila or NCR, or in Filipino from Philippine national and international mass media, national literature in the national or nationwide native common language or lingua franca, and from national education, academic, scholastic or other learning systems and curricula, to understand, comprehend and/or also communicate, write and/or speak fully or fluently in Batanggenyo Tagalog or in the other non-Manilenyo Tagalog dialects of the Tagalog language. These just support the fact that although Filipino and Tagalog do overlap with Filipino and Manilenyo Tagalog, in their entirety as languages, they aren't entirely, fully or wholly equivalent, the same, synonymous or interchangeable.

reiterating ken that an artist should not lose themselves to what the people around them are dictating them to be. For an artist to be sustainable, they have to be true to themselves and their identity. and fans will come through after that. those people who will relate to their music will always find the art in them, no matter how big or small the number of those fans are. and bini has stuck to their values to be empowered women and youth who is proud of their roots, and to spread positivity with honesty and authenticity. they are kind and pure and those values radiate soo strong from the girls. just like what they took inspiration from the boys, they saw how unafraid they were when they risked everything to open the world to ppop. love the prosperity with ppop right now.

For starters and to just get familiarized with each member's name and corresponding faces, you may check "BINI Chronicles Part 1 & 2". The short videos will show a snippet of each girl's personality. But for a more comprehensive information on how the group was formed until the time they debuted, you can watch the 9-episode documentary entitled "One Dream: The BINI x BGYO Journey". And to finally learn their journey from nobody to stardom, you need to watch their 3-part DocuSeries. Currently, "Chapter 1 - Born To Win" is out, while "Chapter 2 - Here With You" is to be released by the end of October. 😊
