There is a full story behind this MV. The storylines actually represented different timelines in each of their lives. This MV was one of Justin's early creative works. He hand made most of the story boards before having the animation finished. Im sure another A'tin can really explain it better. I love this song. It was also used as an OST for the Game Boys (BL series) movie trailer. Yes the Wish Bus performance was during Covid. The Philippines was really locked down at the time. It's around the same time Ikako was released and Pablo wrote Nyebe. Watch them perform this on the TM Pusuan love show. It's such a good performance and they did Tilaluha during the same show.

Re Wish Bus - they were in the zone, as they always are when they're singing an emotional song! On that same day, they also performed IKAKO, an upbeat song - you can see that they were not sad at all! Haha Also, this was recorded during lockdowns; thus, there were no people outside the Wish Bus. If I remember it correctly, Josh also had an injured shoulder here. Regardless, HANGGANG SA HULI will always be my fave in GITZ album and this performance, one of their best performances on the Wish Bus!

My take: the MV revealed a love story of each in their past. Pablo,I believe, met an accident and his ladylove died. Ken, I think, had feelings for someone w a different gender preference. Josh got surprised on his return to discover that probably a former love already has her own family. Justin had a secret crush in one of his classmates who was offered scholarship abroad. Stell had a crush on one of the customers in the coffeeshop where he works. It was mostly about not being able to express their affection. 😊

this song made me an a'tin. it was used as soundtrack to gameboys season 2 (boys love series). the song is so beautiful and mahalima's vocals are so perfect. one thing about sb19 is that they feel the songs they sing. i think they just internalized the emotions, because this was filmed the same time as "ikako" which showed them in a more playful mood.

It's a song about unrequited but undying love so they have to sing/perform this in character. The lyrics are heartwrenching. The English translation (which you can see in the cc of the music video) does not do justice to the beauty of the sound and meaning of the Tagalog words. Hanggang sa Huli is everyone's favorite SB19 ballad, even OPM legends like Regine Velasquez Alcasid love this song. (She and the boys sang this in a noontime TV program and also when she was the special guest at the WYAT World Tour Homecoming Concert on December 18, 2022. There are fancams of both here in YT.) I love Hanggang sa Huli because of the beautiful melody and lyrics. Pablo always gives his compositions his golden touch and he did so doubly in this song. By the way, Tanya's pronunciation of the song title is on point. She is starting to sound like a native.

If I remember right, this was performed when they were preparing for their first online concert during the pandemic. Thus no crowd as Philippines was in a lock down period. This is also the same area where they did their Wish Bus comeback for Pagsibol era. Hanggang sa Huli MV This shows how each one of them had gone through heartbreaks. Just like the song, even though the world changes and things happen, their love will always be there until the very end. Based on the timelines: 2009- Justin is writing on his notebook. He is a student who is in love with his girl classmate. But then, even before he can confess his feelings, the girl was accepted into an international school with scholarship which means they had to stay apart from then on. (then you will see on a clip that he and Pablo were in the same class, they were in group photo plus walking together from school) 2015 - this is the year of death for the photo on the tree where a Pablo in a wheelchair was. A clip of Pablo mourning on his room was seen on the beginning with a newspaper that says (a class reunion ended up in a tragedy). He loved his classmate too but the girl died on an accident after their class reunion which I think Pablo survived and now in a wheelchair. (then you will also see that Pablo was riding the same bus as Josh when Josh was on his way to the park) 2015 - since Pablo and Josh rode the same bus so I'm assuming it's the same year. Josh goes back to reminisce his first love in a childrens park. Like going back to his hometown. You will see there that he is in love with his childhood friend and both of them had a simple red bracelet as a sign of their relationship (on the tree it says Athena loves Josh, 'Athena' which sounds like A'tin, the fandom). Josh meets a little girl and consoles her by giving her his red bracelet then later on, the little girl's parents comes by and the mother had a red bracelet on her arm which Josh recognized. So she was his first love and now she is happily married and the little girl is her daughter. (fast forward to future, you will see Ken doing street art with spray paint) 2034 (based on the date on the cafe) - Ken falls in love with a girl who's very good at dancing. You will see that the girl has a red bracelet on her arm (this means, she's the little girl and has now grown up to be a lady). But then one day, Ken saw the girl he's in love with is dating with another girl in the cafe which makes him heartbroken. Then the girl was harrassed but Ken still helped her even though he knew that she is in love with someone else and just gave back a sad and understanding smile. (the cafe where Ken saw the girl with another is where Stell is working) 2034- in the note, the year was 2034. Stell falls in love with a customer who oftens come to the cafe. He always gives her coffee and leaves notes like a secret admirer. But then by the time he confessed his identity as the one who gives her coffee, she comes with another man in her arms which makes him heartbroken. All this just shows their first heartbreaks and even if they did not end up with the girl they loved, they would still continue loving until the end. It also shows how everything and everyone is connected somehow and that it's truly a small world.

this is the song that made me stan them. I first saw their wish awards performance of Go Up, but this song also on wish bus made me stan then. I'm a sucker for ballads and they gave me chills during those wonderful harmonies. it's a bonus when I learned that they are funny and chaotic when i dug deeper into their personalities.

Acceptance & moving forward is what the MV's main message. Justin wrote the story & made the storyboard from scratch then Collab with a Filipino Animation studio JujuArts. PS. It has 3 different timeline Pablo, Justin & Josh - 2009 & 2015 Ken & Stell - 2031 Pablo, Justin friends & schoolmates from 2009 then went on a reunion in 2015 where they met an accident & 1 died (Pablo's girl), Pablo got disabled & 1 critical (mostly assumed it was Justin coz he didn't appear after the 2015 timeline & assumed he died), when Josh went back to his home town years after, his childhood love already had a family, Ken like someone with gender preference & which infact the daughter of Josh's childhood love while Stell like a girl whom he's been serving coffee everyday but when he finally got the courage to confess but she's already in a relationship.

This is "THE" song that made me stan them, when I first watched Go Up, i said the MV and songis OK but i do see the talent and the potential, then I watched Tilaluha and thought that was much better. But then I watched their infamous press conference when one of the reporters bashed them with such ludicrous questions. Then at the same press conference where they performed this song, before it was officially released. I then stanned them and said to myself this boys needed to be protected from such bashers. My favorite HSH MV will probably be the Jeju Island MV, please check it out when you can.

I think at this time, SB19 probably still wasn't completely sure what they really wanted to do music-wise? Plus Hanggang Sa Huli might be written by Pablo and the rest of them but I don't think they could put too much on how it was composed (coz of their old company) plus it was also during Covid, and I assume their confidence wasn't as big then as it is now. I think they only really got that confidence they wanted to portray when it was the What? era and most especially Gento era. But they also performed Ikako on the same day and it's a very different feel so you might wanna check that! You should also check the whole of TM Pusuan versions of the songs as personally I think it's some of their most emotional (renditions of their ballad) and funnest (renditions of their pop songs) performances around early 2021 era.

The same day on Wishbus they recorded another song Ikako, which is a happy upbeat song and they looked so happy and enjoyed singing it, even playing around a bit. So must be the mood each song presents. Also, Josh had a shoulder injury that day. I discovered SB19 when this video came out 2021, been A'tin ever since! I enjoy all your RVs, thanks much!! To expound on the story of the member's and their love interests in the MV: Justin is classmates with the girl, and he was about to confess his love for her thru writing a message for her in a notebook, planning to give it to her with a flower. But then, the girl hands him her acceptance letter for a scholarship in an international school, and so, Justin decides not to confess, not wanting to distract her or be a hindrance on her way to achieving her dreams. It was symbolized by the flower dropping off of Justin's hand. Pablo, Justin's classmate from the past as seen in the group photo, was on a tragic accident when they went to meet up for a school reunion. He became a cripple (the wheelchair at the end), and the girl heloves unfortunately died during that time, as evidenced by the newspaper article in his room when he was on the floor crying. He then decides to go on a trip, riding the bus to visit her memorial, and to finally let go of his regrets, accepting the circumstances. Josh went back to his hometown, reminiscing about the memories from the past with his childhood friend (playing on the playground, the markings on the tree). He was about to leave the red bracelet he was wearing beneath the tree when a child bumped into him with a ball she's playing with. He then decides to give it to her, and the kid runs up to her parents, where we see the mother wearing a matching red bracelet with the one he gave away. He was taken aback at first, not expecting to see her there, but is happy for her as she has created a happy family with her husband. Ken's love interest is Josh's love interest's daughter, as evidenced by the red bracelet she was wearing. He loves her, but when he went to the coffee shop that Stell is working at, Ken saw her with another girl, being lovey dovey with her (they are holding hands). He quietly decides to let go of his feelings, silently leaving the shop. Then when the girl was walking, a random guy harassed her, grabbing her arm, and Ken stepped up to help. He helped her without asking for anything in return, neither being bitter and ignoring her nor holding it against her because of his failed love. Stell's love interest is a regular at the coffee shop his working at. He takes care of her on the sidelines, like reserving her favorite spot during the times she usually goes to at the shop, and leaving notes on her table. When he finally musters his courage to confess to her, she arrives at the shop, but something is amiss from the usual. She's with a guy, who is obviously her special someone, and they order coffee for two together. Stell watches them, and sees how happy they are together, and he becomes glad for her. At the end, all of the boys can be seen smiling, accepting that they cannot be together, and letting go of their feelings for the girls. They may have let go of their love, but the fond memories remain Hanggang sa Huli (which means until the end), cherishing it and reminiscing about it. Pablo's story is the toughest, as he was grieving the death of his loved one, but he learned to accept it in the end.
