Im just so proud of justin , grabe yung improvement, from "pakiramdam ko binibigyan lang nila ako ng linya para masabing part ako ng group" to bumabali na ng nota, and omg si Josh talaga eto pinakanakakaba sa live kasi he tends to be shaky and flat/sharp pag solo , ninerbyos ako sa tinaas pa nya dito. Nakakaproud maging Pilipino. Kung ang ibang A'tin nasasaktan pag kinukumpara ang sb19 sa kpop, ako natatawa - sige te hanap kayo ng kpop na ganito kateknikal kumanta at magharmonize, nagcocompose nagchochoreo nagdidirek, sige hanap kayo. Couldn't agree more. SB19 was the group who oaved the way for PPop to be known and accepted by the Filipinos. Swerte ng mga sumunod sa kanila na groups kasi di nila dinanas yung mga doubts, pangkukwestiyon at disbelief ng mga Pinoy sa PPop. Sinalo nilang lahat yun hanggang sa eventually matanggap ng mga tao ang bagong tunog na to. Other groups also got the idea or inspiration rather ng intensive training from them. So SB19 deserved and always will be deserving to be called PPOP KINGS.

Actually, they never had a ‘nonsense’ song. Maybe you’re just distracted by their aggressive sound in most of their singles, but if you look closely, even in their loud Pop songs, the lyrics always convey deep stories about them that Filipinos could actually relate. The lyricism in their songs are POETIC that’s why most of the listeners don’t get the message right away. But as you listen to them more, you’ll know that they are taking OPM to different different levels; not the usual hugot songs, cringey pop or hiphop songs.

MAHALIMA so good! Especially the improvised parts and adlibs. Partida walang vocal backing tracks yet plakadong plakado. Pablo has that ability of both the main vocalist and main rapper, but Justin's intro and Josh's verse part became the iconic parts for this specific performance in my opinion.

Arguably the BEST version of this song. Changes in the way Josh and Justin changed the way they sang their lines added an amazing flavor to the song that made it even more endearing to listen to. Stell and Pablo's resonance and vocal clarity were more pronounced here as well- and Ken's low register was powerful as usual. Overall, they did so well that you're left with the feeling that you've just listened to an entirely new track. Congratulations, SB19.😍😍😍 I said somewhere that MAPA may be less relatable to global audiences than their other songs dealing with soulful, more poignant expressions of romantic love (comparable with Lady Gaga's "Always Remember Us This Way" or Coldplay's "Yellow") for the reason that MAPA's theme of filial devotion is very Filipino/Asian culture-wise. But I guess that's what it means to be a truly Filipino musician- you adopt themes from the local culture and OWN it- by creatively finding an expression that translates that local color to something collectively human- our universal yearning for family, for love that's unconditional and genuine in an age where relationships have become superficial and emotionally fragile. That said- MAPA reminds me of what Freddie Aguilar did when he wrote and performed "Anak." Perhaps SB19 is on its way to becoming an inter-generational music icon? Truly, their songs have so much potential to becoming part of the lasting legacy of Philippine music to the world. ^_^

Si Pablo talaga nahahawigan ko si Gloc 9 sa tune ng voice niya, ewan ko kung ako lang to. Since ng napakinggan ko to at sa lahat ng song nila.
