Hi Jenny, Thanks for your reaction. When the 2 other ladies are ready for you to react to first take MAPA, please add the English subtitle as the song is 100% in Tagalog language. Good luck, I guarantee you that you will love the song MAPA and SB19 performance

I love the 2nd verse where they only got the drums on the background. It highlighted Josh's unique delivery and Pablo's exquisite rap. Looking forward to the MAPA first take with Erin and JD.

Thank you for your reaction to SB 19. They are very talented & versatile young boy group. You might want to check out & react to another p-pop from the Phil's. called BINI karera & salamin music video & dance practice. They are group of young ladies who are also very talented & versatile, just like SB19, these young ladies can sing (good vocals), dance & rap. Both SB19 & BINI are just amazing group. Thank you. More power to your channel.

SB19 is such a reliable group of artists. You can ALWAYS trust them to deliver the BEST performances under any circumstance. The immediate confidence in them that you feel when they perform. A true standard in live performance. Ate that indeed as Pablo said. 👏👏

6:02 No not really. If I understand what you mean, like in Chinese, a certain word can mean a different meaning if you just change a tone (that's how I hear Chinese because I watch a lot of Cdramas haha). You can just say it as you read it any way you want to. If there's a difference in meaning with the same word, it's the syllabic stress but not tone change. That's why it's fun to hear the rap parts in Gento because Ken, Josh, and Pablo do have different flows to distinguish each other's rap. Plus all 3 have different voice ranges. But it's fairly common for rappers in the Philippines to be melodic really. A lot sing, not just rap, and I think that helps in being more creative in their flows.
@LeoClomaАй бұрын
I second this response -- Tagalog, unlike other Asian languages like Chinese and Thai, is not a tonal language, therefore the melodic rap performed by Pablo and Josh in "Gento" is primarily for musical purposes. (It is akin to how baroque opera, to take a totally different kind of music, makes use of recitatives, wherein the vocalist does not just "recite" their lines flatly but "chants" them melodically, mainly for musical emphasis and emotional delivery.)
@Justsanz-bk8lkАй бұрын
If you mean the quick ascending and descending of notes, it's not normal in Filipino music and even in casual conversation. It's basically Pablo'sl improvisation to add uniqueness to their brand of music.
@harvestmoon123Ай бұрын
Oh pretty Jenny ! We also speak in that way, the high and low tone especially when arguing or insisting your point..for example: " didn't i tell you don't touch anything here"!!!?
@inheumann9005Ай бұрын
Yeah. Just to add on, it definitely is an artistic choice to use it on a track, but we do use it in normal conversation occasionally to convey sarcasm, annoyance, or whatnot.
@leenmartinezАй бұрын
Filipino/Tagalog is more poetic and musical in tone and sound in itself, melodic and rhythmic. Syllable-timed: Filipino is a syllable-timed language, which means that each syllable is given equal importance in terms of timing, this can give the language a distinctive flow and rhythm, change the intonation, then the word may have a different meaning. Tagalog has several dialects, depending on region/province where "tagalog" is spoken, some may be more soft than others, so for instance Gento/Ganto, where Pablo is from (Cavite), is shortened and "hard" tone of the word "Ganito" (like this) while it should have been "Gah-Nee-Toh" in monotone. So tagalog, the way they sing is a combination of mainly tagalog's language qualities but they can still put in their artistic choices.

Thank you for your reaction and support for the boys of SB19.They are fun to watch when they perform live. Each one bring their own unique voice & style and when their voice blend together it's perfect. Yes indeed, I quite agree w/ you about Justin's facial expression especially when he sing.I like watching his mouth and the way he expressed and clearly delivered the words.They were all special and beautiful in their own way. Hopefully you'll have the 2 of your friends with you on your next reaction video.❤🌎🇵🇭🇨🇦🍁🍁🍁

Yeah.. try reacting to the lyric and the wish bus perf. This one (the first take version) was kinda "emotional happy" mapa version, unlike the lyric and wish. Its a diff type of emotion.. youll love it. 💯

There are many dialects and many different intonations that one dialect could sound so sweet but actually is already mad or cursing. Another could sound harsh but nothing but good intentions 😂

filipinos play around with the voices when we converse to show emphasis primarily, or sometimes just to add flavor to the things we say. this is flavorful speech is also noticeable in pinoy gay lingo.

Hello Jenny.. with Filipino language.. the intonation plays an important part within the conversation. Like for example the word “Baba” it can be BABA as “Chin” or BABA as “down” “going down”.. spelled the same but the meaning becomes different when you pronounce it with a different intonation.

In some Filipino dialect intonations are very prominent. You would know someone's origin by the way they speak tagalog. Provinces like Cavite, Batangas, Bulacan (all from Luzon) are some tagalog speaking provinces and their tones are distinguishable from each other... Next MAPA on TFT please. Then may I suggest solo songs of Felip/Ken, Fake Faces mv kzbin.info/www/bejne/qGm9fKqGmayGhNksi=LiTQ6979OSB5olpQ back to back with live on the Wish Bus. kzbin.info/www/bejne/bZO3n5eZoq2gnNksi=N6tFmjL9VvonHF6g Palayo mv kzbin.info/www/bejne/aorbnoyunaqhaKssi=VlyQX1puWcisZRZ2 back to back with Palayo Superior Session Live kzbin.info/www/bejne/sHylpaqth9plopYsi=UoYYH76WZOSoSMY9 (but you have to cut it after the Palayo live because right after that it's back to back with BULAN live which you have not reacted to yet)
