Great video! I called around a couple banks to see about getting pre-qualified to buy a buisness , they all said that's not how it works in the buisness world. They said I need to find a buisness and submit a letter of intent then apply for the loan by first creating a buisness plan. I feel way more confident in making an offer if I know where I stand with the bank first.

Can you do a video on the form 912. Im worried my past record is going to stop my loan. I haven't been in any kind of trouble for 9 years. This decade old record shouldnt stop me from moving forward with my life. Any help would be greatly appreciated ray. So far you've been the most knowledgeable person I've come across with SBA

Sure. Great idea. Short answer: the SBA will clear just about every crime but it’s up to each individual lender as to whether they will lend to you.

Great video! For the HELOC access - does that HELOC have to be drawn a certain number of months before the SBA loan closes? I see the SBA loans often close quickly (30-60 days) and seller's often expect a turnaround that quickly, so if the HELOC needs to be drawn more than 60 days before, it seems like that may not be a practical path forward in most cases.

No it does not. Anytime prior to closing should work.
