I had an SBA loan that I paid off in 1982. I need $1.2 million to set up exsamples of Senior Friendly Homes of my design. Trying to get senior homes that have the tools seniors could use to make their life better. Just because it didn't work for @Mrdukeus doesn't mean it won't work for your daughter! Figure out the pros and cons, create a business plan, do your research and she'll be fine. Nothing comes easy, any successful business owner will tell you they failed multiple time before they get it right. So if she really wants to do it, she can 😊 maybe look into getting a mentor in the same business so she could avoid making some of the new comer mistakes

Could you tell me if I can do anything about not receiving my whole EIDL grant? I received $2000 in May 2021, I called around January 2022 was told they owed me $8000. But then with Bidens extra $5000 that made 13,000 I was owed. But my email had a problem and I requested it to be updated. The portal link they sent me to claim my other $13,000 owed to me wouldn't work. No one could get my email uodated after numerous calls. I ended up not getting it at all and my business basically shut down for a year. I'm trying to get it going again. But have no revenue yet. I need funding asap. could I possibly pursue this money I was owed? .

I got 5k from PayPal twice. I paid the loans off. The interest was high and didn't help my business credit. The SBA failed small business during Covid and lied about the 10k grant. Don't trust these agencies and the government !

They're leaving the loan requirements to the individual institutions ( at sba minimum) So technically you can get the denied for low credit but the new appeal process will most likely get you approved unless you're like really bad.

SBA loans require paper back up that is really unbelievable - documentation from banks, loans, payoffs, statements for cards, proof in income, proof of cash in back, where cash came from, etc., etc. Plus, PSFs done about every 60 days prior to approval. And they go back 2 plus years. My final approval document on a SBA loan was all scanned as pdf - the bank needed me to print everything off, sign probably in 20 places and initial every page. It was OVER 500 pages when done! Then you overnight the final document to a company that "verifies" everything (that cost $1200 alone) - finally the bank says you are good (they now have the SBA guarantee to keep the bank funding whole) and they begin funding. You only GET SBA funding AFTER you spend ALL of your CASH first!! So yes, there is a lot of red tape!
