SBB CFF Roco De 4/4 mit Seetalwagen.

This is a Roco model of the De 4/4 motorised baggage car of 1920's vintage which was often used on local passenger trains in Switzerland until the 1970's. The prototype loco was slow and underpowered, and the model is too.
I like it for its no-nonsense simplicity of form, pure functionality. But it would not win any beauty contest for trains.
This model is not fitted with a sound decoder. I am coming to the conclusion that the sound of electric locomotives is more realistic if you just listen to the model. But I still like sound decoders for steam and diesel.

Schade, aber ich habe noch nie einen Gleisplan getan. Auch habe ich die Anlage nicht mehr, weil ich über den Atlantik zu bewegen hatte. Grundsätzlich ist die Anlage ein Oval und eine Figur 8, die über und unter jedem anderen kreuzen. Ich legte aus Eisenbahnschienen auf einem großen Stück Sperrholz und dann Stücke herausgeschnitten und unterstützt sie auf einem Rahmen. Sehen Sie auch das Video Kannstehaben und suchen Sie Bücher von Noch über eine Anlage zu machen. Ich hoffe, dass dies hilfreich ist, und dass mein schlechtes Deutsch verstanden werden kann.

Nice model ! Agree that sound is great for mostly steam, maybe some diesel, however electric locos just are'nt worth the cost for a sound that isn't that far off of the model's sound !
