Elliot and Freddie were extremely opposite characters and he nailed playing both! Rami is such a versatile and amazing actor. I'm all praises for this man!

And OMG.... he was phenomenal in The Pacific playing Snafu. Embodies every character so well, you don’t ever realize it’s him. He’s the best.

I remember thinking, when I first heard Rami's name associated with BR and Freddie Mercury, 'oh, that's interesting...I can see that.' In retrospect, I firmly believe there's a greater reason he was cast as Freddie, his soulfulness, his ability to see the genuine goodness and humanity in people, no matter how alienated they might feel, and, in his own way, make people feel just as empowered as Freddie Mercury did. ETA: After having watched many of Rami's BR interviews, his love for, and appreciation of, his supporting cast is always expressed with so much depth of feeling that I'm as intrigued by that "band" relationship as I am by the relationships between the real members of Queen.

I've seen BohRap 3x, and I can honestly say that if Sascha Baron Cohen had gotten the role, I doubt I would have seen it more than once. I would have felt obligated to see it once, because it's Queen, but I don't think the movie would have the traction it has had.

wow rami is such a great speaker and is so intelligent. he respects Freddie so much and not because he should because he plays him in a movie, but because he finds things he can relate to with Freddie and understands every little thing Freddie did. rami is an incredible human

Brilliant...simply brilliant! I thought I'd heard it all with all the interviews I've watched but he had even more to share.

The interviewer was more concerned with looking at his list of questions than actually looking and listening to Rami. Love the humble and extremely talented Rami. ♥️

He has interviewed (and gushed over) Rami a few weeks ago. So he has heard some of this before and not all new to him. I think he was just trying to not be repeatative this time, and frame his questions a bit differently.

this is an excellent interviewer ! unlike most he did not interrupt Rami and listened well.

To be fair, Rami hardly looks at the interviewer when he replies to questions. What’s the interviewer supposed to do? Stare at Rami from the side the entire time, Rami talks?
@loiswong94216 жыл бұрын
all interviews are done for the audience (us), Rami's story is to us, the interviewer's task is to ask the right questions. i agree with you.

Just when I think I've seen all Rami's interviews , I stumble into this one. Always sincere, always quick to praise his fellow cast and crew members, and always awesome in his praise and love for Freddie Mercury. I can't get enough of this beautiful man.

Dear SBIFF, why didn't you number all of these? Love hearing Mr Malek speaking, so articulate and passionate and HUMBLE but it's tricky trying to figure the order of these clips...well, if you pay attention you can go by the timeline of his other performances but all you had to do was NUMBER these! and THANK YOU for posting them :D
