What an outstanding interview! Ms. Emily Blunt defines to the nth degree what being articulate means. I honestly can listen to her speak for hours on end - she’s smart, intelligent, witty, has a terrific sense of humour… Simply put, Ms. Emily Blunt is beauty and brains!

Okay. Even if I think there are 5 better options in the Best Supporting Actress category for the upcoming Academy Awards, I still want her to get in. She deserves to be an Academy Award nominee

Emily has contributed to cinema so much. The problem is that her roles aren't the typical oscar baity roles. So she should deffo get in this year, more as a legacy thing than anything.

You know, Emily is amazing for that role. Kitty (in real life) is not likable person, but after she portrait her, she becomes a mother not to her own kids but for the women. Some people think the character/person is just a plain which is more hard to act. But Emily’s performance makes that colorful and more interesting. Even if Kitty is an alcoholic, terrible mother to her children and battling the society/gender issue, she stand up straight for his husband and destroyed the men in the room. The character is problematic but you can’t totally hate her because you understand her position in that kind of society.

On the contrary, this is a relatively weak year for best supporting actress category, and there's only one shoo-in. Emily's portrayal of the unlikable Kitty Oppenheimer in the little screen time she had was sizzling. It was ugly, nuanced, explosive, and it completely deserves and very likely will get a nomination. She did the best with the little she was given by the writing amongst the larger male roles. She's already been nominated by the other major awards, so I think she's one of the top 4 most likely to get in for the Oscar. And like people have said, similarly to Cillian Murphy, she's been overlooked too many times before by Oscar for many great performances despite being nominated by the other major awards, including SAG which is almost the same voting body of the actors branch of the academy.
