Wepaaaa! This reminds me of the 70's and 80's when I was out there partying my behind off.... the guys would exchanged partners with the girls. Old school... love it!! Too bad we couldn't see too much of the other dancers at the other end.But I still was able to appreciate the dancing!!! By the way newbies this is NOT A BAD COPY OF "RUEDA DE CASINO." MANY of OG salseros danced in this manner back in the good old days. I am one of the old them(61)years old. The band sounds great!!!

Indeed, we dance salsa as practice for heaven because, of course, that's a lot of what we'll do there. Me, I'm 74 and still dancing high-end salsa for hours twice a week, diligently practicing and preparing. I was listening to mambo from newborn on and danced it before salsa came to town, and then salsa for the decades thereafter. It's so deep in me that I can't imagine it won't still be in me on the other side.

When you dance to a live band you best have the stamina lol. It’s awesome and not as common these days which is very sad not only for us dancers but also for the musicians. Musicians do a lot more traveling for these salsa congresses but back in the day you could see a live band almost every night for $10-$20 bucks.
