What are your thoughts after tow years with the antirock? How about de body rolling on the street and highway?
@silverbackmoose86423 жыл бұрын
After two years I have to say that I still like it for smoothing out uneven terrain and also helping excessive body roll on big off camber features. As far as it acting as a sway bar on the street it does not do very much. I did mess with the adjustments and yes moving the links to the closest position did tighten it up a little and I settled on using the middle hole instead of the 4th like in the video. A lot of people have suggested going with a rear only set up. It really just depends on which axle you want doing more work. Running just a rear makes sense for some things. Running both makes sense too since these things really do not limit travel

Curious about your PS fenders. Did you have to cut your hood or did they just bolt on?
@silverbackmoose86425 жыл бұрын
These are not the high lines. No cutting needed. Bolt right up

Would have really enjoyed the explanation of how to accurately adjust these. I'm a little stumped on my install for the XJ. Think I know what I'm doing but would rather watch someone else do it 1st correctly.

Have vehicle on flat ground and unloaded, install one side with the horizontal flat to slightly up, then adjust the other side to fit

Is that safe to change swaybar location and install antirock if yes there's any method can show how can that be safe
@silverbackmoose86424 жыл бұрын
What exactly are you asking? I would say if anything this is a much ‘safer’ installation of the sway bar since you are mounting inside the sway bar inside the tube that acts as the structural cross member between the two frame rails. The oem mounting position uses a c bracket over a bushing held on by two bolts on each side, putting all of the load created by the sway bar directly into those fasteners. The antirock puts zero load into any of the fasteners by using the splines on the torsion spring. So again, i don’t really understand the question.

Can that fit in 2012

No, no and even more no. Horrible description of how and why a sway bar work. You want an Anti Rock because once set, you have full road drivable conditions and a no-touch system to allow full flex off road. You only lose 4% USEFUL articulation. It's highly worth the $500-$600 investment and one of the best mods you'll ever add to your Wrangler.

Why is it a horrible description?

honestly this is kinda the best explanation I've seen on why should I get an antirock instead of my quick discos, what you said is also right, but I dont consider that the video mentions anything wrong nor horrible...
