I used to be a lazy when it came to yardwork. After finding this SB Mowing channel, I became much more interested in proper yard care. He is inspiring...3 year olds LIKE doing chores and yard work, when a patient adult does it with them. Using tools, learning about trimming or planting---cooking---all sorts of activities appeal to the little ones. When you actually DO them, with your Body, Hands, etc., it puts down a new neural network in their brains and bodies. Just watching stuff won't accomplish that. It stays abstract if all you do is stare at a screen.

Larger cities might be able to do that, but towns are often cash strapped operating on very thin budgets. Especially with increased urbanization. To me it's kinda sad to see parts simply abandon and decay.

If the man that owned those homes was still living in one of them, he would get charged for having an overgrown lawn. But since he abandoned them the town doesn't seem to care about them. Instead of helping him and getting the lawns cut at least. But glad we have people like Spencer who make the neighborhoods look amazing.

Besides being a great mower/edger, SB is SMART! Uses a 'grabber' to pick up trash--> no accidental needle sticks/back injury prevention AND has ingenuity to problem solve issues that arise during each job. Love watching you...continue to stay smart,stay safe!

That was an amazing cleanup. The driveway, the front walk, the garage, even the house seemed to just appear as if by magic. So much back-breaking work and you do it without complaining-you do it for the neighbors-people you do not know. You are a great man. I watch your channel all the time. It gave me the motivation to make my back yard usable by digging up half the soggy dirt in my back yard to lay down some nice gravel. It's only 400 sq ft. I curse you for this! This is much more difficult than you make it look! Spencer I just wanted to say you inspire me to get my strength back so I can enjoy doing my yard again! I've been having issues with my legs now for the past couple of years, lost strength and on the brink of needing a walker, but you have inspired me to start doing some strength training on my legs also I can regain my ability to walk freely. I used to love working in my yard, but sadly got to point I couldn't anymore, except like I said now I'm working toward getting back to my to it! Thank you Spencer for an inspiration to me and many others I'm sure!

Seek the help of a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT). They'll get you up and strong again. A DPT can recognize problems others can't.
