That's true. I love having good neighbours. I used to have really nice ones at my last place but now I live in a block of appartments and it's lost that nice neighoubrly feel. I still say hi to my neighbours and they're polite enough back, but it's not quite the same. If you have good neighbours, make sure you appreciate them while you have them.

Yay! Finally helpful neighbors. Before I get smashed with comments again about this subject, realize that even with my severe spinal injuries and age of 69, I still helped a neighbor of 86 who needed a quick mow of her front, and very fortunately I can walk and push lightweight things, not much else. My little push mower took me maybe 15 minutes. Sometimes people need help, not nasty criticism. You know what? Not one offered to help me after my life changing experience, and it would have been very nice to at least get an offer to get my mail, food shopping, not just a quick mow. So it might be a good idea to think about others once and awhile, but people don't tend to do that. Thank you Spencer, you really help people, and the neighborhoods. If you can't help them, at least don't harm or insult them, or me. Suddenly becoming disabled and crippled is no joke.

People don't realize how life changing an injury/health complication can be until they experience it themselves. I was both fortunate and unfortunate enough to experience this early on in life. Luckily, I have my whole life to learn how to cope. Its tiring being the only one compassionate about those who struggle, especially when the favor isn't returned. I've come to appreciate the little things that people do for me, but sometimes it's not enough or doesn't feel genuine.

He seems to tackle quite a few abandoned properties. I'm pretty sure the neighbours appreciate it because not having all that brush and tall grass to hide behind deters creeps from breaking in or trashing the properties further. It's nuts how many abandoned properties there are in Wichita. Where I live, if it's abandoned, the city demolishes the house. The housing market is nuts though and it's extremely hard to find a property to buy here. Even dumpy houses or empty lots are expensive.

My yard looks so much better now since I started watching your videos. I now pay attention to detail and actually do all the other things besides mowing, that makes a yard really look good. While doing the details I now pay attention to the health of all the plants and trees and trim them and show them respect and care. We are all part of the same on this earth. Such fantastic thing you do. I lived with and cared for my mom before she passed. I was dealing with her health issues and our lawnmower had quit working. I tried to keep the lawn under control with a weed eater but it soon got out of has. A woman in our town would drive her mower over and mow. I never ask, she just did it to help. It was so greatly appreciated.

Spencer, an excellent job. I'm sure the owner appreciated everything you did. I'm sure she's an older woman. With Covid everyone has been affected somehow! My husband does 4 yards in our neighborhood. Most are elderly or disabled and unable to do it themselves. Or keep up with all the yard work. One elderly woman pays my husband 5 $ an hour to rearrange her flower beds, lol! It's all she can afford and my husband adores her. She lost her husband to Covid, two years ago. I think my husband just being around brings her great joy. She's always feeding him too, lol! I know the neighbors love looking at a tidy lawn again! 😊❤😊

You are an amazing person. SERIOUSLY. I need to mow my grass, but my pain levels won't get down to a manageable level. I have been trying everything I can think of since yesterday. It is so high and all of those branches I can't bend to pick up. Yes, I use a grabber tool, but it takes too long and I can't stand that long lol. My dear friend and neighbor died a year ago and her lawn is out of control too. It breaks my heart because I was trying to care for everything when she passed. I miss her a lot. Anyway, you have no clue how much you are genuinely helping someone. It's funny because I used to love doing jobs like that and helping out others just to be helpful. The tables never turned though. So I sit and hope the pain drops a bit so I can push through. You may not be aware that you are saving some people with chronic pain in situations like mine. Just doing a thorough clean up can land me in bed for days in pain. It's so satisfying to do it, but geez. This is why I love watching your videos. Don't forget your sunscreen!
